It is reported that the five hostages are all female employees. According to an eyewitness, the suspect is a dark complected male about five feet four in height. The suspect released three or four bank customers early on. He says he wants to take the remaining hostages with him when he leaves. He's demanding a car.

Kind of the gateway to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Other "notable" villages include Lindsey... Lots of Oranges...

KSEE 24 now reporting one hostage just released. Four female hostages remaining in bank.

I live in Exeter. Situation is over as of 3:30 this morning. I think all but one hostage had escaped already by bolting, and finally when the 49 year old hispanic perp asked for cigarettes, he was rushed by SWAT upon delivery, no shots fired.
My sister works in the only other bank in town. He apparently visited them earlier in the day, and just got some change. They called the police after he left because he gave them the creeps.
