Illegal Aliens Use Greyhound!

Founded in 1914, Greyhound Lines, Inc. is the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, serving more than 3,100 destinations with 16,000 daily departures across North America. It has become an American icon, providing safe, enjoyable and affordable travel to 22 million passengers each year. The Greyhound running dog is one of the most-recognized brands in the world . . .

Greyhound has four subsidiaries in the United States, which are a part of the nationwide Greyhound network. They include: Carolina Trailways, serving the Southeast; Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma Coaches ("TNM&O"), serving the Southwest; Valley Transit Company, serving the Texas-Mexico border, and Vermont Transit, serving New England.

In addition, Greyhound has interline partnerships with a number of independent bus lines across the United States. These bus companies provide complementary service to Greyhound Lines' existing schedules and link to many of the smaller towns in Greyhound Lines' national route system . . .

For those within Mexico who wish to travel by Greyhound in the United States, Greyhound subsidiary Greyhound de Mexico can sell Greyhound tickets at one of more than 100 agencies located throughout Mexico. The agencies also sell tickets for several Mexican bus companies, like Estrella Blanca, which connect to Greyhound service at the United States-Mexico border cities.

Ok, I see what you are saying. I have no problem with your solution, to be honest, I would infact prefer it. All I am saying is, if we are going to get stuck with a guestworker program, I'd rather it allowed us some means of solving the problem of the 20 million illegals already here. I just don't want to see McKennedy pass.

Since I provided the link and ping'd that person to this thread, I fail to see how it was an attempt at all, sophisticated or not.

Also, Mr. Nimble never addressed the points raised in this post #49 - maybe he WANTS the housing bubble to burst - the record is so noted.

Before we chew too hard on Greyhound, try the INS "catch and release" program for Other Than Mexican (OTM) illegals. Central American illegals who made it to Del Rio would TRY to get caught. Since INS had no cells and wouldn't rent same from state or local, they literally loaded them up by the van full and drove them to San Angelo and other interior cities where they were released with PR bond with a promise to appear in federal court on so and so date. You will be shocked, shocked, I say, to hear 90% never found the courtroom. Here in San Angelo, they were cut loose about 2:00 AM at the TNM&O bus station! Local reporter documented 120 in two weeks, all from El Salvador, home of the MS13 gang. I have a mental picture of Pedro telling Juan, "Is this a great country or what!" These are our enforcement people playing taxi driver.

As to deporting 19 million, ponder the pure mechanics. Not to compare ovens to deportation, but it took the Nazis several years of typical German efficiency, totally unconstrained by considerations of anyone's rights to "remove" 6 million in a much more compact area.

We need to change the incentives into disincentives. One addition to eliminating birthplace citizenship and amnesty, add; we catch you once, you will NEVER, for any reason, be legally allowed back in. Amazingly, we don't even do that now.

If we can't even pass a Constitutional Amendment on marriage as one man and one woman, how the heck are you going to do so to eliminate birthplace citizenship?!

Before we chew too hard on Greyhound...

I'm not 'chewing on Greyhound' at all.

This whole thread is a silly exercise by an open borders type.

You're upset with Wells Fargo though - why not with Greyhound for violating the SAME EXACT LAW?

Obviously you haven't learned a thing. It was pointed out to you clearly on another thread that no constitutional amendment was needed to solve the anchor baby problem.

A simple act of Congress, signed by the President, will do just fine.

Until it is declared un-Constitutional by the Court.

So you want Greyhound to start asking for 'papers' before allowing travel? Misplaced rage IMO.

Ah, you're one of those who thinks only lawyers can interpret the Constitution. Gotcha.

Amazing that someone like you, who thinks they're so smart, can't understand the meaning of the simple word 'and' in the Fourteenth Amendment.

Good catch! I'll will be right back with the corporate office addresses for the Big Three auto makers . . .

LOL! Greyhound is the cheapest way to get from point A to point B if you do not want to walk over 50 miles.

Amazing that someone like you can't answer direct questions and then has the gall to falsely accuse others of avoiding questions.

I agree - but Greyhound is arguably violating federal law whenever they transport illegal aliens - we can't let them get away with that, can we?!

Grayhound is one of the few ways of getting around the country that does not require you to present ID.

They don't?

or U-Haul or Ryder or Amtrack, etc... it's the Governments job to ID them before they get across the border or prosecute their employers once they get here.
