‘Do as I say, not as I do' [Hillary]
Navasota Examiner ^ | January 25, 2006 | Gina Parker

Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY), speaking at the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ in Harlem on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, attended on the pretext of honoring the Civil Rights leader, but instead she dishonored his memory with her race-baiting comments. She sarcastically whined: “When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation, and you know what I'm talking about.” Hillary continues to sound a Democrat theme - making race a divisive issue in America.

Sen. Clinton - reared in Illinois - forgets that Repu-lican Illinois Sen. Everitt Dirksen, Senate Minority Leader in 1964, effectively stopped the Democrat filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Bill. Upon the bill's passage, Sen. Dirksen stated, “I am involved in mankind, and whatever the skin, we are all included in mankind.” Republicans support an America being one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all - a nation where people are judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, as Dr. King wanted, and as did those courageous minority party Republicans in 1964.

Sen. Clinton should apologize for her inflammatory remarks; she should acknowledge the historical facts that Republican President Abra-ham Lincoln (Illinois) emancipated the slaves and that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 could not get past Democrat segregationists from the South without overwhelming Republican support in both houses of Congress, a body that she now says is a GOP plantation.

However, we all must remember that the Democrats honored Margaret Sanger - the atheistic, socialist founder of the American Birth Control League. Sen. Clinton was in the forefront of that 30th Anniversary Celebration of the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL).

Sanger's American Birth Control League later became Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the nation. Today, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry abort an average of 1,452 black babies every day in the United States. Thanks to the abortion industry, which Democrats so cherish, the U.S. has approximately 10 million less black people.

In their honoring of Sanger, Sen. Clinton and the Democrats never mention that Sanger was racist. They always omit the historical fact that Sanger started “The Negro Project” in the 1930s to use birth control as a way to eliminate the black race, information that Sanger also did not want made public. In a 1939 private letter, Sanger wrote, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro populationŠ.”

How sad that the Democrat Party leaders honor both Dr. King and the woman who did not want her true intention known - the elimination of blacks as a race in our society. Someone should tell Hillary to read Peter Schweizer's book, “Do As I Say (Not As I Do).” Hillary should personally live her words and ideas and “apply them at home” (Schweizer, p. 15); she cannot have it both ways.

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

Still my number one reason to vote against this witch.

But this article is a great runner up!!!

You know, it just doesn't matter about Senator Clinton anymore. She will never, ever be president. People just don't like her. They see her as a mean and cold person...and she is.

Did you see the figures on that CNN/Gallup Poll released earlier today? Mrs. Clinton's unfavorable numbers are enormous; and something like only 16% of those polled said they would be happy to vote for her as president.

No soup for Hillary Clinton.

Next!

Slick could pull this off, he could relate due to his upbringing; when she did it, it came off just as belittling; my guess is blacks do not like the slave thing thrown in their face. Along those lines, did you hear NPR about the two sister that went back to Africa? Guyana I believe, they could not believe the locals did not treat them as long lost cousins, they called them whites.

I hope you're right about Hillary.

One day we will have a woman president, but please, please, let not Hillary be the first one.

It's pure chutzpah that she could even think of moving back into the White House after the way she and Dumbo behaved there earlier.

All this tells me is Hillary sees African Americans as plantation dwellers. What a racist.

I didn't get that meaning.

What I "heard" was she was addressing a class of citizens whose ancestors were slaves on Southern plantations...so "you know what I mean" was pandering.

She may be a racist, but that appearance doesn't prove that.

It was a political speech.

However, considering that they gave her the opportunity to make a speech about a black woman, I can't blame them.

And, since they inadvertently allowed her to make a political speech that may ruin her chances at election for President, I think I might send my next tithe to them.

"Hillary should personally live her words and ideas and “apply them at home” (Schweizer, p. 15); she cannot have it both ways."

But "having it both ways" is one of the basic tenets of liberalism and it doesn't seem to bother a large segment of our population.

It's scary because, after all, some 48% of the sheeple voted for Kerry ("I voted for it before I voted against it") in 2004.
