Galloway Linked To Killer

Video footage has emerged showing George Galloway shaking hands with Saddam Hussein's son Uday - a rapist, torturer and convicted murderer.

The video, obtained by The Sun, shows the Respect MP having a 20-minute meeting with Saddam's eldest son in an Iraqi palace in 1999.

In the video, Mr Galloway is seen to greet Uday, shaking his hand twice and calling him "Excellency".

He jokes about losing weight, going bald and failing to give up smoking cigars.

Mr Galloway also orders watching journalists not to publish parts of their conversation.

Finally, according to the paper, he taunts the United States and vows to stick with Uday "until the end".

The video was shot for an Iraqi TV station and was smuggled out of Iraq before the regime fell.

Uday beat and stabbed to death his father's personal valet and food taster, Kemal Hana Gegeo, and was briefly imprisoned by Saddam.

He also raped numerous women, and his victims are believed to have included a visiting Russian ballerina.

And as head of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, he oversaw the imprisonment and torture of Iraqi athletes who were deemed not to have performed to expectations.

Uday was shot dead by US soldiers in 2003. He was 39.

Just to say Gorgeous George has won the appeal against the Telegraph today and can keep the £150,000 he was awarded. Apologies if anyone has posted this already.

The guy thrives on controversy.

I don't understand how that happened - Galloway is corrupt, anyone can see that.

Didn't a fairly large contingent of Muslims in his district come forward to reelect Galloway? Wonder how they feel about this leotard behavior of their elected leader...

What , if any political repercussions will this have?
I remember Perfumo resigned over a tart. But then, that was a different era.

I have very sincere doubts he'll be re-elected. He has been absent because of being on Big Brother from a number of debates regarding bills which would benefit his constituents. Worse for him, they've noticed.

It was only going to be a matter of time before Galloway's idiocy caught up with him. But this, this is priceless.

They're appalled, is the short answer. Labour had a field day with this back in Galloway's constituency.

[Galloway] tells Uday: “I’d like you to know that we are with you ‘til the end.”

Here's wishing George had been with Uday at the end, and shared his fate.

I hope you are right. He's much worse than a mere buffoon, he's evil.

Galloway is my least favourite person in politics today. And believe me, my list of dislikes is very long.

John Malkovich won my eternal admiration for saying he'd like to shoot Galloway.

"He was a MASS RAPIST who set dogs on a 24-year-old woman who rejected his advances ? then watched as she was ripped apar..."

How did he accomplish that trick!

(I think you meant "serial" rapist)

Thanks for the ping. I saw part of the video on Fox News this morning. Didn't surprise me as much because of a story I read from one of the UK papers detailing how Galloway was treated like royalty every time he came to Baghdad. He's scum, and a liar to boot.

Uday was one of the top 10 most dangerous men on the face of the earth...even Saddam didn't make it into the top 10. If Uday was disappointed in you...you were dead within minutes. If he wanted your wife...he had her in his house within an hour. If he wanted your daughter...it was the same. For Galloway to sit in the same room and talk "business" with this dimwit...shows total lack of character and understanding of Uday's threat to the civilized world. Taking Saddam out may have been GW's top vision in this whole affair...but by killing both Uday and his brother...GW did more good by that one act than anything else so far.
