Actually, the fourth and the second amendments are routinely violated by our government, regardless of the party of the politicos in charge at the time.
If you think your right to keep and bear arms is NOT being violated, try "bearing" without a "permit", having a gun that is ugly, etc.
Roadblocks done in the name of "public safety" are a good example of a 4th amendment violation. Probable cause is not met when you stop and hassle ALL the cars on the road. Let's not even get into the things the IRS has done.
