I remember Earle and Kay Bailey which is why I wouldn't trust him to tell the truth if I was looking at him in the eye. That said, I am not sure Abramhoff isn't going to bite DeLay as well as some others.

Like to think Republicans will police their own unlike the corrupt RATs!

As a conservative and registered Republican of over 50 years, I must say: "Lots of luck."

These days, I don't trust either party to police themselves -- not with the pressures of constant funding requirements, just to stay competitive in the races.

That said, a 95% incumbency retention speaks volumes. Our electoral system is fractured beyond repair -- and will exacerbate the ultimate demise of our Republic.

Only a matter of time.
