"We are federales."
"Well, then where are your badges?"
"Badges? I ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges.
I don't have to show you no stinkin' badges!"
Ping
oops, _army_ uniforms, but you get the idea...
"Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said the report was overblown and most of the incursions were just mistakes. "
Having him as HSS is a mistake.
These days I'm really starting to wonder about our survival instinct as a nation.
Someone needs to pull the damned trigger!
"These days I'm really starting to wonder about our survival instinct as a nation."
I think there's plenty of survival instinct among the citizenry. I wonder about the leadership, though.
This makes me rethink the whole border thing. We need motion sensors, observers and artillery.
""Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said the report was overblown and most of the incursions were just mistakes. "
Sorta like the thread I just perused about Israel...Olmert says Israel must give up more land...
We need some UAV's with Hellfire missiles down there.
Smoke a few SUV's carrying weed and "federales".
That's the problem with putting control of our borders in the hands of law enforcement rather than in the hands of the military....where it belongs. When you're up against mounted machineguns, what do you do? The military answer is simple: Light 'em up....first. What are those federales in Humvees going to say with their mounted machineguns to a company of M1A1 Abrams tanks?
The Mexicans need a little history lesson: It took just the state of Texas (just about nine years before it was admitted to the union) to kick their A$$e$ at the Battle of San Jacinto in about 18 minutes. Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad!
Don't mess with Texas. Don't mess with the USA.
Governor Perry wants to put the Texas National Guard on the border.. I wonder what they will think when they see some National Guard Abrams facing them down.
Mistake, huh? A river is a pretty clear demarcation of a border in my humble opinion.
Was this actually a military operation or were they drug dealers dresed up as military?
They need to get some Strykers like Fat Billy is using on the NM border over there in Texas. Federales wont come over and mess with them........but once.
Let's see some American juevos.
