These days I'm really starting to wonder about our survival instinct as a nation.

I think there's plenty of survival instinct among the citizenry. I wonder about the leadership, though.

This makes me rethink the whole border thing. We need motion sensors, observers and artillery.

That's the problem with putting control of our borders in the hands of law enforcement rather than in the hands of the military....where it belongs. When you're up against mounted machineguns, what do you do? The military answer is simple: Light 'em up....first. What are those federales in Humvees going to say with their mounted machineguns to a company of M1A1 Abrams tanks?

The Mexicans need a little history lesson: It took just the state of Texas (just about nine years before it was admitted to the union) to kick their A$$e$ at the Battle of San Jacinto in about 18 minutes. Remember the Alamo! Remember Goliad!

Don't mess with Texas. Don't mess with the USA.

When it comes to defending our borders this administration is a bunch of wimps. As a old Catholic school boy, I can see only one viable solution to protecting our borders from these thugs.....

Governor Perry wants to put the Texas National Guard on the border.. I wonder what they will think when they see some National Guard Abrams facing them down.

Mistake, huh? A river is a pretty clear demarcation of a border in my humble opinion.
