Gov. Knows How To Press the Flesh (NM: Richardson)
The Albuquerque Journal ^ | January 22, 2006 | Jeff Jones

What do Beetle Bailey, Dennis the Menace and Gov. Bill Richardson have in common?

All three are in today's Albuquerque Journal comics section.

Today's installment of Ripley's Believe It or Not!, a comics feature that celebrates the unusual, includes a tidbit on Richardson's handshaking record set in Albuquerque several years ago.

On Sept. 14. 2002, Richardson shook 13,392 hands while campaigning for governor at the New Mexico State Fair and a Lobos football tailgate party outside of University Stadium.

A Guinness World Records official was on hand for Richardson's feat. And Guinness created a new category for the most handshakes by a politician in eight hours.

A Richardson staffer on Friday said to his knowledge, the record still stands.

Richardson after his handshake marathon put his right hand on ice. "The reason I did this was to show we have a grass-roots campaign and that politics can be fun. Politics is people," Richardson said at the time.

Very true.. Watch the Clinton machine start to attack Richardson. He has one of the better chances of giving Hillary a rough fight in the primaries.

I just don't see what it is about this guy. When I see him doing interviews, his facial expression is one of those of someone with about a tablespoon of their own vomit in their mouth, ready for Full Spew at the next tough question.

Richardson knows how to fondle his Lt. Governor.

“He pokes me,” Denish said when confronted about photos taken of Richardson and her at an appearance in Bernalillo in late October. “He pinches my neck. He touches my hip, my thigh, sort of the side of my leg.”

Denish told The Journal, “I try not to put myself in that situation, trying not to stand or sit next to him.”

Why doesn't this article mention his obsession with touching, grabbing, pinching and poking any female within his reach?

Or this article designed to deflect this character flaw?

I fully expect Richardson to pull the ethnic card on this one, i.e. latinos are more physical than others when it comes to hugging, kissing, etc. Of course, it won't explain away adultery...but since when have the Dims been concerned about that post-Chappaquiddick?*

"Gov. Knows How To Press the Flesh"

What a priceless headline for Clintonista politicians...... I'm wondering whether such a headline ever greeted Bill Clinton's activities when he was Governor of that brothel he called Arkansas....??
