LITTLE ROCK -- Design professionals close to the story advise, on conditions of anonynimity, that the extra-special 'double-wide design' is, fittingly, being held in reserve in case it should be needed later, for a Hillary! Lie-brary structure.

William the Bent was always lipping the invocation: "Will you help me build a bridge to the twenty-first century?"
Evidently he got no takers.
Construction came to an end with the partial building of one of the on-ramps.

You're certainly welcome, Ma'am.

Funny... When I first viewed the 'award-winning design' above, the phrase 'up on blocks in the front yard' came to mind. ...evocative of a 'bridge-to-nowhere', I suppose.

A man's home is his castle..I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of hard working people who prefer to own a mobile home rather than rent an apartment. They might be offended by your caricature.

Bridge to where? The design of the structure make no sense. My hunch is that they are wanting/waiting to put her museum accross the river and connect the two. 20th century Clinton connects to 21st century Clinton. Insane idea?... Look at who we're dealing with!

Hate to disappoint but the Clinton Library is based on the Frank Loyd Wright "Falling Water House" built for Morgan.
It's an American classic, (Falling Water not the Clinton Library) but it does have a legitimate reference to American Architecture.
Frank Loyd Wright single handedly utilized cantilever construction for urban design which he borrowed from bridge construction and applied to Japanese architecture.
It is a bit PoMo for my tastes but it is definitely American not from the Corbu modernest school.

If the designer's intent was to base THAT design on "Falling Water House", he missed by a country mile. There is no visual comparison at all.
I hope there is someone on FR who can post pictures of the two for comparison.

Thank you for that post.
Whoever makes a positive comparison between those two structures must be on dope.

Hate to disappoint but the Clinton Library is based on the Frank Loyd Wright "Falling Water House" built for Morgan.Nonsense! Actually the architects for the Clinton library were closet Republicans with a good sense of fun. I applaud their effort!

(Not seeing it. Perhaps if they made a "porch" on the front of Fallingwater and put a "fridge" on it?)
