I don't mind Shannon Sharpe as much as I do Theismann or Maguire.
I actually think that Sterling Sharpe needs to be in the booth with Al Michaels next year NOT Theismann....

The last team I was certain was going to win the SB when the playoffs started was the 1989 49ers.

Lots of Pats fans are cheering for Rush's favorite team this
week...
___
SI: What's the best football team you've ever seen?
Limbaugh: There's no question. It isn't even close. The 1970s Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pitt. doing quite well against the team that beat US last week! Jake "Almost Cut My Hair" Plummer...:)

Actually, I'm a Browns' fan and used to hate the Steelers.......but I always respected them. Lynn Swann, Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Jack Hamm. (I couldn't stand Jack Lambert, though). GREAT team.
Then after Art Modell STOLE OUR TEAM FROM US, I didn't feel so badly about them.
And at this level (I grew up no more than 70 miles from Pittsburg), I REALLY want them to win.
Mostly as a Browns' fan, I just hate the Broncos though, so this is really fun. ;)

The old Jake Plummer has returned.

I expect Shanahan to call an onsides kick. Anything else is basically a surrender, when your opponent has put up points on every possession and TDs on the last 3 you need to avoid giving them the ball to start the 2nd half if at all possible.

Re: "Yes, and howzabout that Michael Irvin? Can't stand either of them. For Michael's part, he played great for my favorite team, but he is the worst sportscaster ever, IMHO. Well, maybe he and Joe Theissman are tied on that one."
Yeah! Wish Joe had a broke his tongue...

I think that the loser of this game should be given a haircut and a shave on live TV afterwards :)

He just might. The Steelers would be happy to just kill six minutes on their opening drive.
To: MoodyBlu
Seattle 27, Carolina 14.....I gotta pull for my home team. Though I am of the opinion that if they don't win, I am still happy. Great season all the way around.
