Are you ready for some football? My predictions:
Denver 23/Pittsburgh 13, Seattle 24/Carolina 17
"I HATE THE steelers"
And STEELER FANS have no use for you.
Seattle looked good today. It should be a good matchup. Hope the game is close and neither team chokes.
But, GO STEELERS!
What? Did I screw up on someting? Checking back....
Thank you. We'll keep fingers crossed for the SB!
Florida State players on both teams. Wlater Jones O-Line Seattle. Boulware- DB Seattle. Chris Hope- DB Pitt. McFadden DB- Pitt.
I really hope Holmgren lets Peter Warrick be active in the offense for the SB. That kid is really talented...in the right system, he is a damn stud still.
GO SEAHAWKS!!!
Everyone should root for their own team and not talk trash on the other person's team.
You might wind up having to eat crow if your team loses. And besides, it is not polite. But I have done it to those who have talked trash on the Steelers. You are not one of those people. Glad your team made it. They deserve to be there.
OMG, Ski. I have strawberry Sugar Free Jello Spew snow-blowered all over my new, white G4 screen. Ranks, homie.
And hey, both of youz, (especially Cy,) I heard a good one tonight on the informative magical talking box:
What do you call a vegetarian with diarrhea?
A Salad Shooter.
Me likey.
LOLOLOLOL!
Oh, the visual. Maybe that I used *snow blower* caused my pea brain to think of it. I might need to be in fourth grade again.
lol
Well it wasn't like they were an expansion team. They were just the Browns relocated.
SMITHLESS IN SEATTLE
I went into this game thinking if we could only contain Smith enough to keep him out of the end zone we might just have a chance beating the team with a worth nickname The Road Warriors. I never dreamed we could hold him to 33, repeat 33 yards receiving the whole game was simply amazing.
I think it was most enjoyable seeing how pissed off he was that he wasn't getting the ball. Or the fact that the second half, we see him sulking on the sidelines. Steve Smith making excuses for his dismal performance (there's four guys covering me man). And of course the cherry on top for all Hawk fans, him fumbling on the final series to seal the win for the Hawks.
It goes to show you that football is still a team sport, and that one man alone can't shoulder the load forever in the postseason. At least he said it best in his postgame interview about being "outmatched, outhustled, and were beaten in every way."
At least Delhomme had an excuse. He was playing without a running game, playing on the road and playing in front of 67,837 espresso-jacked fans. No way was Carolina going to win this game with the entire Pacific Northwest screaming in their helmet earholes.
I have been waiting for this moment since 1976.
Way To Go Seahawks. Finally Some Respect.
LOL
Stillers +4 already in Detroit. Game started at 3-3 1/2
From what I've read this a.m., it looks like the sports announcers (some of whom insisted Carolina would win) and Vegas guys have the Steelers ahead by 3-1/2 to 4 points. That's fine- - -let them mis-underestimate the Seahawks, just like the Dims do the President.
