An electromagnetic pulse bomb or two may be in the works as well. I doubt that Iran's military has hardened all of the electrical devices associated with their military assets. In addition, the use of E-Bombs could cripple Iran for many years, and take them out of play indefinitely. Nothing would work. Cars, watches, radios, etc.

You don't want to send the rest of the country back into the stone age. Doing so might make them more likely to side with the rest of the religious extremists in that country.

Well, I was being facetious myself, fwiw, but the real point is that more kids will die if Iran gets nukes than if these kids are in the wrong place when they're stopped, and that includes more Iranian kids as well.

Yes, there was a daycare center in the Alfred R Murrah building for the employees to leave their kids at. It was on the second floor. 12 children were killed in the attack.
