slightly off topic..but last night SNL absolutely laid into the Dems....it was hysterical...

Opening bit had Anderson Cooper interviewing Ray Nagin, Jesse Jackson ,and Hillary Clinton..wickedly dead-on portrayals..Hillary, talking about her "plantation" comment, said "Of course, I was pandering..if I had been talking to a Jewish audience, I'd have said that the GOP runs the House like a concentration camp; an Hispanic audience, I'd have said they run it like a landscaping company..."

The guy playing Jesse Jackson was superb..made him sound like an idiot..

Later on, during the parody of the Weekly News..they had interviews with Gore and Kerry...made them both look like buffoons..and the audience howled...and the cam back to Hillary again..showed a pic of her in CORNROWS.....it's a hoot..we have to find a way to get hold of it somewhere..maybe Drudge will hget it if we all e-mail him?

Sounds like the show is looking forward to the presidential campaign......

Anyone know if there is a video archive available for those who missed it?

I'm confused: all I'm getting on FNC right now is that ridiculous Fox & Friends. Does FNS air at a different time in other markets (I'm in the NE)?

Morning Morgan.

Kyoto for starters, joining with Kennedy. He has not voted for one tax cut Bush proposed. Always put some stoppers on Pentagon nominees (Bush gave recess appointment to Asst.Sec-Def). Never coming to rescue fellow republicans while fast to run to the defnse of dems. Never question media's credibility on ANYTHING, just take them for granted. Joining with Graham & Warner, shadow-fighting with Rumsfeld & Bush's defense agenda. I could go on & on & on.

FNS is on Fox's national, not cable channel. Same station that airs "24", if you are a watcher of that great show.

I would just love to get the VP's opinion of Kerry, Leahy and a few other Dems... OFF-THE-RECORD

Well I think we have a good idea (think clymer)

Did you know Cheney played Saudi version of lawn bowling with King Abdullah while doing quiet diplomacy?

Absolutely - Leahy pushed him one step too far that day by questioning his ethics and intigrity and then during the end of term Senate photo trying to be best buddy.

Tactics Dick Cheney finds most distasteful and even though his wife was a few inches from him he had had enough and let Leahy know it. Lynne has said on record she was surprised by the language but he was pushed too far and fully understood why he said what he did.

Excellent post and great catch!

Of course, Bob S is too stupid to catch it, or more probably, doesn't want to.

It takes a FReeper, I always say....

Thanks. Our local Fox affiliate must pre-empt FNS, because they're running "Day of Discovery" instead (which is fine with me).

He was a good example libs at State - he was a Carter guy, but what is the difference? Didn't the toon make many of his 'appointments' into career people before he left? W could get rid of 'appointments', but it is nearly impossible to get rid of 'career' people, thanks to their union.

FNS on FNC airs at 6.00pm EST or for me in the UK 11.00pm.

I wish that FNS would get rid of the power player of the week segment; I would much prefer to listen to more panel discussion.

I'm in extreme northeastern NJ which I guess is the NYC market, and I don't get Chris Wallace's show until 6pm. At least I can get a heads-up about it if I can check in on this thread!
