Good Morning! John Kerry is running again, isnt he?
Hey, just heard from CSPAN caller, today is the 5th birthday of Democratic Underground (DU).
Gonna' go wish them a happy b-day before shows start in my area ;)
5th birthday at DU? I believe it, they sure act that age over there...!
Okay, I've just got to comment on this. There's a lot happeninng in the world right now. Iran seems to be going forward to develop a nuclear weapon. Osama Bin Laden releases an audio tape; his first in over a year, condemning Bush (of course) while sounding just like a democrat.
But does the MSM care?
Of course not! These issues, while breaking news and world class, play to Bush's strong side, so in their effort to shape news away from that, we get......
A full hour of Barack Obama!!!! The University of Maryland's men's basketball coach!!!! And as always, we get to hear the quality opinion of the angry ego of John McCain!!!!
There IS a reason. DSCC recently provided a list of attendees for it's "Strategy Session" in early 2002 under a subpena. The only "outsider, "journalist" & "keynote speaker" on that list is MTP boss.
"Joker of this week" will confirm it under oath. MTP Emperor gets in next. Fun starts from there and things will get interesting.
Face the Nation looks worthwhile, with Pat Roberts and Joe Lieberman. Good chance they'll be discussing national security, without the Dem talking points.
Oh yeah, I heard a 'recap' on CSPAN on what will be on the shows today.
Sounds like "Bush" Spying, and Bin Laden tape are pretty much the topics on most shows.
Funny enough, I didn't hear the word "Iran" being a topic on anything except Wolf Blitzer's Late Edition on CNN.
Of course Russert is spending the entire hour with much more important things, like laying the Dimocrap groudwork for 2012 with Obama.
The caller's DU name was "goodboy"...at least that is what I heard. His comments were how we have created a larger base of terrorists due to our actions. The New Yorker Staff writer, Steve Coll, complimented the caller on his good comments. What a hoot. I just turned CSPAN on, so I don't know what the general topic of discussion is this morning, but I did snicker on the compliment to the DUer.
That is the only way that he can avoid being forced to sleep in his car.
Excellent point! The psychological age of four is one in which the child can understand and process hypotheticals. They can't. They must be 3. Psychologically of course
Rodguy is off doing family stuff this week so I will be doing the top ten. Probably will not get to it until tomorrow since I am at work all day today.
That's correct. It seems he has posted a thread about it already.
Recently, Al Jazeera released a supposedly "Bin Laden tape" with democrats talking points. Now,
Bin Laden's mouthpiece Aljazeera giving advice to democrats on supreme court pick.
The nomination of Samuel Alito is the Supreme test for the DEMOCRATS. They have the power to stop this nomination but if they fail to do so they should expect minority party status for a long time to come.
Joe Lieberman's communications director
Left-wing bloggers observe the Alito hearings from an alternative universe.
Most of the political establishment has concluded that the Democrats were: (a) ineffectual; (b) egomaniacal; (c) desperately grasping at straws; (d) downright offensive; or (e) some combination of the above. The American people, outside of those living in deep-blue enclaves, either were not paying attention or concluded that Sam Alito seemed like a pretty decent guy who was more than qualified. And if they saw anything about it on TV, they couldn't figure out why those pompous Democratic senators were trying to slam Judge Alito for being racist (and making his wife cry). (Worth reading full)
Interesting to see how dems. react to Bin Laden's mouthpiece in their voting.
John Kerry will never sleep in a car. He'd just prey on, er, find some other rich widow...
The general topic was "whats your favorite blog?" for a while befofe they brough this guy from the new yorker on.
I watch mostly for the calls, since the guests are very hit or miss.
Earlier a lib caller was complaining he had to go to blogs becuase "you can't find any liberal voices on tv... maybe Olbermen once in a while, but even Matthews has on 2 conservative guests all the time, you can't find a liberal voice"
Priceless....
Well, a lot of people have forgotten about Adlai Stevenson. Kerry aims to remind them.
From Wikpedia:
"Adlai Ewing Stevenson II (February 5, 1900 July 14, 1965) was an American politician and statesman, noted for his skill in debate and oratory. He was twice an unsuccessful candidate for President of the United States (1952 and 1956)."
And, may I add, a democrat.
Good morning all, thank you AB. So glad I can read this, and don't have to watch....
He has had to before. And sometimes he doesn't wait to get himself "known" to a new prospect. We think that his standard is at least $600 million for a new prospect.
