Bin Laden's No. 2 releases poetry tape

With no mention of last week's attempt on his life, Ayman al-Zawahiri recited poetry to jihadists on a 17-minute audiotape that appeared on the Internet on Friday.

Osama bin Laden's top lieutenant was the target of a January 13 CIA airstrike on a home in Damadola, Pakistan, where al Qaeda members were believed to be attending a dinner.

Anger, Sorrow

We let them come in peace
Let them into our lives.
Why do they hurt us?
How can they justify?

They killed 3,000 souls that day
Faces all with family ties
Loved ones,
Died.

A blur of faces caused this rift
A single man sent those men
and he won't stop till we stop him
that bastard's gonna die.

He may not have pulled the trigger
Nor did he have to give the order
he may have just sat there gloating
while loved ones' corpses lay there bloating.

He claims my loved ones died for cause
how dare he claim them for his own
They died without a warning
they died that grim September morning.

Now we have him on the run
We won't stop until we are done
We'll chase him through all the lands
Till we catch him,
or his blood is on our hands.

Perhaps the "poetry" contains directions to cells in America. Perhaps they want us to think that.

Wouldn't it be great if the NSA intercepts picked up increased traffic, we listened and thwarted an attack?

The libs would scream that is was not worth the sacrifice of our liberties.
