And may I add, if someone out there is reading this and feeling thankful, spend a few minutes to put that thanks into action. Warriors can come in all shapes and sizes. Be a support warrior for our veterans and troops. Perform a random act of kindness and gratitude for a veteran or one of our active duty troops. Go online, make a donation, send a Valentine, or better yet, contact your nearest veteran's hospital/outpatient center to see what volunteer opportunities they have or donations they may need. Show them you care.
Well said, and worth repeating.

Great to "see" you too Ari!
I'm afraid you are correct...Code pink will not disappear, but they sure have been marginalized.
Thank goodness for the DC FReepers and all the wonderful support they give those brave soldiers!
Hope you are doing well, Ari.

The ultimate Freep honor would have to include Jim Rob and the rest of the Central Valley chapter flying to DC to join the DC chapter in a Freep of Hiltery.Received a great joke today over the Internet:
Finally, a bumper sticker for both political parties:
"2008: RUN, HILLARY, RUN!"
Democrats can put it on the back bumper.
Republicans can put it on the front bumper.

Well, I'm not going to say anything more to betray my ladylike status, like, "Aroused your attention, did I?"

Every day I wonder if we can stop her from getting the nomination. If not, I would be so frantic working against her I might burn myself out!Frankly, I hope she does get nominated. She hasn't got a chance in the real world, just in the moonbat imaginary universe.

I am so afraid it will be like NY...she should not have been able to win there either.
Somebody goes in the booth and votes for her!!

What a neat idea!!
Navy & Marines could share a corner.
And remember the National Guard! The Guard (Coast and National) could share a corner!

I am so afraid it will be like NY...she should not have been able to win there either. Thankfully, the rest of the country should not be judged by what New York thinks is an honest, effective senator. Both of theirs suck.

It might be a way to get people from each branch to come out and man their corner...Adopt a corner? It would all be so positive instead of anti-code Pink!
I would love that. Sometimes I just have to pull back when the chants get nasty.

Today was my 224th consecutive week of
supporting and assisting
the Coast Guard crew of Station Coos Bay
I've been there at least one day,
often times more,
each and every week,
without fail,
since Oct 2001
I may not be in DC BUT I support
the troops here every week,
come rain or shine.

Same here, Mr. Tonkin! Well -- I don't support in the same way YOU do, but we all do our own thing!! It's all good! *HUGS!*

There are only 3 Coast Guard crew that were here
when I was 1 st here in Oct 2001
I've seen the crews come and go.
Arrive from boot camp, then go to their next Station.
Or go to school, or complete their enlistment.
I'm in contact with former crew members all across the US.
