I don't think that was a joke, mr. Sensitive.

How can you look upon an innocent child and then beat them to death? What kind of a monster must a person be to do that? Prayers for these poor children and their parents.

This is what I like to think also.

May people like this experience and infinite amount of pain for an infinite amount of time.

NJ hasn't executed anyone since we reinstated the death penalty (twenty years ago?) and now we're going to study it some.

Richard Toledo Gonzalez, 24, described as an illegal immigrant unrelated to the family, was charged with two counts of murder, kidnapping and robbery and ordered held on $2 million bail.

So long as the victims' last name isn't Bush, Cheney, or Chertoff, let's keep that border open and immigration laws as lax as ever...

Am I reading this right? The abductee and the abductor were both named Gonzales but were not married?

I suspect there is more to this story than what has been made public up to now. On the radio this morning they described this guy as someone who was "living in the family's house."

Infinite pain.

Surgically castrate the bugger.

Throw him in genpop for life w/o.

Tell everybody about the surgery.

Stand back and watch.

I don't think Al Gator was joking, I was thinking the same thing and I know I wasn't laughing.

Horrific story, but NJ will never execute him. The NJ Supreme Court spends a great deal of its time preventing anyone from being executed. In decades they have approved one execution, but I believe they later prevented taht one as well. Worst I can think of is a violent killer who shot a teenage girl in the head because he "felt like watching somebody die." The NJ Supremes prevented his execution.

Significant that the perp was actually "described as an illegal immigrant."First ripple of a sea change?

Richard Gonzalez had been living with the family since October, Kelaher said.

It's kind of hard to criticize the U.S. government for failing to secure our borders when you've got some woman in New Jersey with a room-temperature IQ taking one into her own home.

I was thinking of an 8p nail, but a 16p would be more fun.
