They also need to transfer as many employees as they can to Wal-Mart-owned subsidiary companies until Wal-Mart no longer qualifies to be penalized by this law.

I wish they would. The unions who are salivating to get those union dues from Walmart employees are digging themselves into a grave by their tactics.

The problem is that the facility was going into an area of MD with few employment possbilities, and that would hurt the most conservative people in the state.

Wal Mart needs to scrap plans for the distro center and layoff just enough employees to have 9,999 so they no longer qualify for the law. That will show them.

They'll be called County-line Walmart stores, just like all the beer joints just outside the county where I grew up in South Alabama.
