On Friday the 13th, the Pinkos had an unlucky night. We had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond. It was a warm night thanks to the global warming caused by our SUVs. We were able to deploy the MOAB, Mother-of-all-Banners. This was FReep #39 as FReepers have countered the anti-troop hate group Code Pink at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for 10 months now. We had a patriot from Michigan extend her trip to DC in order to stand with us. We were likewise honored to be joined by two patriots who spend their time helping soldiers on a regular basis. The Father of Joshua Sparling honored us by attending. Finally, we deeply appreciated being joined by the proud father and mother of a Marine, who is currently serving in Iraq.
As mentioned last week and continuing to the present, Code Pink has been stunned into virtual web silence about the vigil since mid-Nov. Unless they suddenly produce a slew of reports, Code Pink has published only one report (about Dec. 2) since their Nov. 18 report as you can see on their website: http://www.codepink4peace.org/article.php?list=type&type=81 (copy and paste the address at left into your browser to get there). This has followed a series of humiliating defeats inflicted upon them by the peaceful and lawful actions of FReepers, combined with their usual self-inflicted embarrassments. Code Pink is truly stuck in a quagmire as FReepers severely hinder the Pinkos' cynical attempts to manipulate severely wounded soldiers and relatives in hopes of finding those who will join the anti-war movement and break faith with the troops still fighting a ruthless enemy. Code Pink seems to be phasing out most of their participation in the protest and turning it over to other groups as the number of Code Pink women has diminished considerably.
We are winning our psych-op against the Pinkos and hindering their heartless psych-op against our war-wounded troops. Please join us this Friday, Jan. 20, at 6:30 pm per details below. Please also bump this thread to keep it on top. Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed "the Iraqi resistance" (as they call our enemy, see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.
This Friday should be an especially enjoyable FReep as a special surprise has been arranged. This surprise will cheer patriots everywhere and dash the spirits of the bitter dead-enders of the hate-America Pinkos.
Lifting the spirits of our war-wounded heroes is what we aim to do. If you live in the area, please join us. If you really can't join us due to work, family, or medical reasons or you don't live in the area, you can help in other ways by contacting Coop, Landry Fan, or PleaDeal by FReepmail for ideas.
The honor roll of those in attendance (lurkers are marked with an asterisk*):

Or you can simply close the window with the enlarged photo and click on another photo in the report to open a new window with an enlarged photo. Note that some of the wider photos may open in a window wider than your screen and you can use a horizontal scroll bar to see parts. Photos will be interspersed in the report.
Photos were taken by bmwcyle (click here for his full outstanding collection of photos), PleaDeal (click here for her account and full outstanding collection of photos on her great blog), tgslTakoma (click here for her full outstanding collection of photos and click here for her recent outstanding blog discussion of the Pinkos "Stuck on Stupid"), and I. The photographer can be determined from the name of the photo. You can see that on hyperlinked photos (i.e., borders at edge) by running your mouse over them. On other photos, right click on the photo and click properties. The key is this: photos taken by bmwcyle begin with "Dbmw," photos taken by PleaDeal begin with "Dplea," photos taken by tgslTakoma begin with "Dtgsl," and photos of mine begin with "DSCN." I have cropped some of the photos of others.]

Opposed to our 29 patriots, the Pinkos were unable to rally even 20 America-hating traitors and their well-meaning, but incredibly-misguided, dupes. The dupes do not realize that their Pinko organizers, who claim to support our troops, called our troops "killers", endorse "the Iraqi resistance" (those killing and wounding our troops, see here and here), and have given money to "the other side" in Fallujah.

(After the Pinkos stole our sign the week before, they denied all knowledge of the sign until confronted by a police officer and video tape showing their theft. The Pinkos were told by the police officer "Okay, cough up the sign. If you don't, this is going to get serious." Only then did they give back the sign that had been placed in Bruce Wolf's car. What does the Lying, Thieving, Whining Weasel write? "Yes, they got their sign back, all they had to do was ask." No, Lying Weasel, a police officer had to compel you to return the stolen property.)
This a collage, made by PleaDeal to illustrate the pavement chalk around the Pinkos.
This week someone put chalk messages to the Pinkos as shown in the photo collage above.
Note also the Lying Weasel just to the right of the pink arrow pointing to Chief DC Pinko Gael Murphy.
At the beginning of the FReep, there was a funny incident. I can't tell it any better so I'll quote the story from tgslTakoma:
I went over to the NW corner of Ga/Elder - (because the PinkOs didn't have anybody on that corner - because they didn't have enough people in their group to "spread out") so I could take some photos of our people. I took no signs or flags with me, just me and my camera on tripod.
I had been taking photos for two light cycles, then PleaDeal crossed over to take photos too. She also had nothing but her camera.
We both took photos, not really saying anything to one another.
I saw two grrrrllls walk down the sidewalk behind us, and observed them to go to the PinkOs stack of signs; so I deduced that they were with them. Then I went back to photo-taking.
As I was shooting pictures, a car slowed to turn into Walter Reed, and a guy yelled out of his window, "Go Home! Nobody [paraphrase] wants you here!"
At that PleaDeal yelled to them, "We're on your side!"
I stopped taking photos at that point, and watched PleaDeal cross the street (as the light had just changed). I heard a noise behind me and looked around to see Weasel, and I said, "Oh, it's Weasel".
Weasel said, "Hello there," at the same time I was noticing the two grrrllls from earlier who had taken a position on the edge of the curb, north of me by approximately 8 feet, and they were holding PinkO signs. I realized then that is why the guys yelled "at us."
Weasel asked me what I was doing on this side of the street, and I answered that I was taking pictures. I also said to him, "It must be really disturbing to you all to know that nobody likes you and people driving by yell at you to go away, that they don't want you here.
Amazingly, Weasel said, "Nobody yells at us to go away." But he realized immediately that that very thing had just happened, and that I was there to hear it firsthand.
So he right away said, "Well, other than that car."
I laughed out loud at his comment, and said nobody wants you here.
He then said something about us always calling the cops on them.
I said we only call the cops when they break the law.
He said, "We don't break the law."
I said, "You're a bunch of lying thieves."
He said they didn't steal anything.
I said, "You stole a sign and locked it in one of your cars. You're thieves."
He said, "You got it back, didn't you? You shouldn't be tying signs to federal government property."
I was amazed by this idiot's thought processes... for months now, they've been hanging their signs on that same fence, but only now he thinks it's wrong... when we do it?!
At that point, the light had changed, so I bid him a fond farewell, calling out to him as I crossed the street, "You're a bunch of lying thieves!"

Unfortunately, the Halliburton satellite microphones did not pick up the below conversation, so I just have to guess. You're invited to insert your own captions, your better guesses, as DC Chief Pink Gael Murphy on the right talks with the Pink Hat Pinko. Rearrange the order, and use less than all of them at your option, to match your story line. Best submission wins my personal invite to join us at the FReep.

Murph: "What would we protest if this war didn't happen? |
A highlight of evening usually occurs after the Pinkos are mostly gone. The bus of wounded heroes returns from a free meal at Fran O'Brien's, a fancy DC restaurant. The bus driver usually turns on the interior light in the bus and there are mutual cheers and waves went between the troops and the patriots. On this night, the bus came from a different direction and the driver did not turn on the light. FReepers still cheered.
Let's help our wounded heroes maintain a positive attitude. We absolutely must keep the pressure on Code Pink and keep showing the wounded troops at Walter Reed that Code Pink doesn't speak for the nation. If you live in the DC area and haven't yet come out for one of these FReeps, please do so this next Friday. Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, and their families have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink and their ugly anti-troops agenda.
If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" was one of their commonly-used signs) demonstrations at the hospital. If some are immune to embarrassment, and, at the very least, we can hinder their psychological warfare operation against the wounded troops. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night?
Can you give up next Friday night at the movies to support troops who've given up limbs for your freedoms? Will you?
This FReep is rewarding, fun, and important for our troops and our nation.
Mad Hatter: Do you think pink makes me look fat?
Gael: Gosh, Comrade, you know I don't pay much attention to fashion.
Mad Hatter: *SOB!* You DO think I look fat! You're just trying to get out of saying so!
Gael: Don't cry, Comrade! We have more important things to cry about! I can't believe we're losing to those guys across the street!
Hi Coop.
what could the surprise be that BillF mentions in his report?
I wanna know but then it wouldn't be a surprise.
Gael Murphy certainly is a contemptible pile of $#it isn't she.
Love your tagline!
Kristinn calls her "Large Marge."
Re my last post... That may be a cold thing to do to the old broad, but by her standing outside a military hospital and protesting the war - she's fair game for insults and humiliation.
It's going to be an interesting night. I have a couple special friends coming up for this one, and one of them is bringing her "dog of war" with her.
It's going to be a nice night... are your pups up for a Freep?
I'm bringing your containers with me tonight. Please don't let me forget to give them to you.
BTTT
Yes, she is.
I believe it involves his upcoming trip to Denmark and some major surgery.
I was hoping that we were getting our electronic surveillance equipment tonight. You know, that stuff sure is taking a long time to be delivered, but I guess it takes some intricate handiwork to implant bugs into the stuff we sent them.
OOPS! I hope the Weasel isn't reading this. Now he'll be looking at every little gum wrapper and leaf on the ground tonight.
HAHAHAHAHAHABump!
I was kind of thinking of mounting my special "Hunter's Ear" in one of the trees. But I left it home today.
bttt
bump
That's OK, Nina. The "phone company" was out at that corner earlier this week, "working on the lines." Things should be A-OK tonight.
Here's that song the leftists didn't recognize:
Artist: Lee Greenwood
Title: Proud To Be An American
If tomorrow all the things were gone,
Id worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.
Id thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they cant take that away.
And Im proud to be an American,
where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That Im proud to be an American,
where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
And Im proud to be and American,
where at least I know Im free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
Cause there aint no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
