Unlike some other coverups, this one succeeded. Come on. Every liberal cover up gets whitewashed. This is how this "Two-Party Cartel" works. These elites could not have all of the libs out of Congress & only have a conservative agenda to flourish. So they bribe both factions to cover up. 20 yrs of this & you all can't see it. This cartel is playing the sheeple to the max. It will continue as long as you keep voting them back in so I see no change in my lifetime - ergo I see no reason to even vote & give them any credibility.

Whether or not the unredacted (sp) version of this report is released depends on just how much Kerry wants the Democrat nomination in '08. Or how much the Kennedy wing of the party wants to rid the party of the Clintons. IMHO, the Pubbies won't touch this.

Talk about a Culture of Corruption? The more I read, the more I realize that Cisneros is a total slimebag. Unfortunately it is probably a common trait among a great percentage of politicians and DC government people. The conclusion in Part VI is rather damning of the DoJ and IRS.

A redacted report labels them all as collaborators, when they should be marching the perps off to Leavenworth.
Where's the justice?
To: saveliberty
For obstruction of justice by the Clinton IRS, read Section V of the report and Appendix 16.

The statement you quoted is from the Barrett press release, not me.

535 pols. All we need is 1. I say we start a pool on which one of them does it first. I'd bet on Santorum.
Why not Tom DeLay? What does he have to lose?

Where is the outrage? Oh, I forgot, the where-is-the-outrage senator is out there with Bubba campaigning for more of your taxes to be sent to the hellholes of Africa, and for finding a cure for a homo venereal disease. Or is it the current POTUS' dad who's campaigning for one of those with Bubba while the King of Food Stamps campaigns for the other?

"Where is the outrage?"
Well, in fairness, the outrage is probably still reading this 500 page report plus appendices.

If the Toons were doing this with the IRS, makes one wonder what else they got up to. Was Aldrich Ames, for instance, the only American citizen who got his premises/property tossed without a warrant?

Tony Snow said this morning the Court blocked it Do you know the name of that judge(s)?
To: mondonico
That runs totally counter to pages 33-39 of the pdf of concluding attachments in the statement of the Assistant Counsel to the IRS, Finklestien.
Who is lying should be to hard to determine.

From the Slimes:
" Initially, the panel of three judges that oversees the lingering issues involving the independent counsel law agreed in October to the public release of Mr. Barrett's report but said the section with accusations about Clinton officials must be deleted.
But after Congressional Republicans attached a rider to a Department of Housing and Urban Development spending bill requiring publication of the full report, the judicial panel in November ordered a full disclosure. "
