Totally!
At this point, who knows? He'll be whatever he thinks will work politically. Remember, they tried to bring the Nation of Islam into N.O. to teach the police dept ' sensitivity' awhile back. The outcry stopped that. But Farakhan was here just recently- and he and C.Ray talked extensively. Yes- it was like watching Calypso Louis when he spoke!
Isn't it ironic tho- a day in which everyone praises MLK, and his religious, bombastic style of speaking, yet if the President mentions God or sounds too religious its BAD.
Maybe the Quarter can be moved to somewhere else.....
OTOH if we move all the non-productive types to the moon using Louie's Mothership, maybe the place will stop sinking after all that weight is removed...../ sarcasm
LOL thanks for the ping.
Excelent!
LOL - great one...
I gotta steal that 'toon!
Too funny.
Mayor Nagin said he wants to see New Orleans remain a chocolate city, so we have a picture of him eating a chocolate bar. Thats so funny. Not.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.
Thats one scary Oompa Loompa!
Awww, did somebody pee in your cereal this morning?
I seriously thought this photoshop was racist until I found that Nagin actually called New Orleans Chocolate City. Nagin's a fool.
However, Nagin is misinformed about NOLA being "chocolate city". Since Katrina, New Orleans is fast becoming Mexico-By-The-Bayou. While his old constituents complain that TV sucks during their months spent flopping who knows where (not working to rebuild their city like the people of Mississippi do), the hispanic population has headed to NOLA to get a taste of real money and cheap housing.
Imagine if his constituents actually worked, this whole sad situation would be fixed quickly and he'd retain his office. Katrina has single-handedly changed the face of Louisiana politics.
Re: 26. Now that's gonna p!ss off Milton Hershey.
But when some liberal numbskull utters such patently offensive remarks, we're all supposed to give a nudge and a wink and call it "just a mistake" that can be excused by some asinine, half-assed, non-apology.
Ain't it the truth!
Bus! Perfect!
