Santorum: Media, liberals undermine support for Iraq war
By The Associated Press, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Friday, January 13, 2006
WAYNE -- Sen. Rick Santorum on Thursday accused the media and liberals of undermining support for the Iraq war at a time when, he said, Islamic fundamentalists pose a serious threat to national security. "The challenge for liberty today, the challenge for our generation is the spread of Islamic fascism," said Santorum, R-Penn Hills.
Speaking to more than 300 cadets at the Valley Forge Military Academy, Santorum said public support for the war has been difficult to maintain because of "biased coverage of the war and the political left demagoguery of the war."

But, but, it's ok as long as they "support the troops".
LOL!
Yeah - like the Demorats offered a "real critique" of the Clinton Crime administration?
Also, the media is to blame, and Casey is defending them. Go sleep with your whore Casey.
Just a reminder. WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH Iraq. I am really becoming weary of such poorly worded reporting.
That should be on TV once a month, at least.
What does that picture have to do with Iraq?
Try War on Terror.

I can think of no other clearly defined representation than 911.
oops, first paragraph.
Ah, ye olde guilt by association. I like it.
What did Pearl Harbor have to do with WWII??
Surely you jest.
I don't understand why the GOP isn't out making the case that Saddam bought off the UN, especially the French before he contracted for the hit on NYC and Virginia.
It's real clear. How come nobody is investigating this in any real way?
Did you just arrive on this planet and skip the last 20-25 years?

Because we are in exactly the same position again with our "allies," attempting to drag them along to do something about Iran through the UN. Once again they are choosing $ (or oil and gas) over Israel and some of our cities vanishing in a mushroom cloud. Don't expect any of them to shed any tears for us when it happens. They will just shake their heads and say we had it coming. And the Democrats and everybody on the left will agree with them.
I've been saying that for years. I went to ground zero several weeks after 9-11. The aftermath shown on tv was NOTHING compared to seeing it in real life. It was surreal!
