I wish Jon hadn't told me til around August.....I have 8 mos to think about it.....I'm worried what his mission is going to be....I'm praying he won't be kicking down doors.....or putting panties on POW's heads(LOL).....I was going to get him a digital camera, but I'm having second thoughts...LOL
ROFLMAO
My granddaughter who watched American Idol with me tonight will turn 1 on Thursday....so, I am picking Thursday for your grandbaby to be born..
the 19th was a great birth day in my family!!!
I'm ready for any day....I'm so anxious...
I will pray for you.
It was exactly three years ago that we found out Eric was being deployed, and within a week he was being processed. (I can't remember that military term for it).
We hardly had time to breathe, let alone get worried........did we?
I can't believe it's been three years!!
Good night all!!
I hadn't read the whole thread when I posted before..
I am "sorry" if that is the right term...that you are going to be going through the anxiety of having a loved on in Iraq...
I will keep positive thoughts...just like for the birth upcoming...
God Bless you and your family, M_A!
G'night...
Is that her mother's smile, or what?
Sleep Well!
Her mother's charm as well, I think.
Thank you ohio! Getting here late but here is a Mega Dose Bump!
No. Too many people make unfounded remarks about others when they do not understand different cultures. I will not "get over myself" because I did when I started traveling 30 years ago to Europe on business. Ever try it? Or do you... what?
I know that. I've met a lot of Europeans. When I was in Germany 10 years ago, they wore very small framed glasses with very short hair. We Americans looked like nerds with the lens style at the time here in America. I was trying to make the point that there are differing cultures on this side of the pond from Western Europe. Just as we all speak differently in different parts here in the USA.
Wow, aren't you special? I couldn't care less how much you've traveled.
**because I did when I started traveling 30 years ago**
I'm not even 30 years old. I'm 22. And my only point was that you were being way too harsh about a comment that really wasn't worth getting upset over.
Well, maybe when you grow up, you may understand the facts of life.
My 28 year old daughter has traveled to Praque, Rome, Paris and Luzerne Switzerland. Sometimes, an understanding of other Western cultures help one envision other portions of the plant Earth other than playing Nintendo games while living with Mommy.
When most of us here were your age, we were married, and owned a home.
Sooo, what is your long term logistical plan, and short term strategic plan?
I don't know where that came from??
Apparently I accidently stepped on some European toes.
No offense meant. However, I must complain on behalf of all 300 pounders. We're (they're) people too.
Go to the medicine cabinet.
Get out your meds.
Take them.
Don't call me in the morning.
