Rev. R. Albert Mohler, Jr., the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, says it's "an absolute revolt against God's design" if husbands and wives purposely avoid bearing children.
On his Web site and other articles and interviews, Mohler argues that "marriage, sex and children are part of one package" and that "to deny any part of this wholeness is to reject God's intention in creation and his mandate revealed in the Bible."
In a CNN interview, the Baptist leader added, We grow up by having children. Without that responsibility, we have a generation of perpetual adolescents just growing old."

LOL,LOL,LOL!
If I was preggers, it'd be an unwanted miracle; however, I WAS in the kitchen, making dinner, several hours ago. I actually spend quite a lot of time in the kitchen.
Do slippers count? I'm barefooted inside my slippers. :-)

Alas and alack...I've been found out! *sigh*
But I'm NOT thrilled about being called "aged"! :-(

I'm sorry, but statistics like that are bogus. I know plenty of people who bring up children without a lot of money. If someone doesn't want to have children, fine. The mopney thing is a joke. I guess only Muslioms should have children.

I'm not blaming you. I am just saying the headline does not accurately reflect what the article says.

It's a wonder some folks have any time to beget any of their own...being so concerned over what other people are begetting...or not.

Thank you...I think; but no, I'm not "aged", but I'm NOT "young".
And IF I were "young", I wouldn't be typing madly away on FR...I'd be raising my kiddo and then going to bed earlyish. But my kiddo is a happily married adult and though I'm still always there for her, she doesn't require my full time care! LOL
To: CWOJackson
I think I just heard your wife tell you to get it yourself. LOL
To: CWOJackson
True, true, but I bet that the most vociferous, on this thread, aren't even married.
To: nopardons
That's sweet, you must be proud of him!!!
My two kiddos are in bed. 18 months old and 14 years old!!
I write for a PR company at night so I am online a lot then. :-)
But it is bed time, night!!!

That's what you get when you consider (notice, I didn't use the word treat) a woman your equal in all things. I should have known better.

Thanks...but my kiddo is a "HER" and she and her husband are also FREEPERS. Yes, I am VERY proud of
her. :-)
Good night and pleasant dreams................
To: CWOJackson
Well, of course it is! LOL
And no, you have behaved beautifully! *gasp*, I've given away your secret; you really are a lovely man. :-)
