(UPI) -- Pop star Michael Jackson is under attack from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals for alleged animal cruelty at his California Neverland Ranch.
PETA has asked the U.S. Department of Agriculture to investigation conditions on the Santa Barbara, Calif., estate where it claims Jackson's pets have been living in squalor since he moved Bahrain in June, MSNBC's "The Scoop" reported Tuesday.
"Photos make it clear that the animals are being held in what can only be described as cruel conditions," PETA spokeswoman Lisa Wathne told Britain's Mirror. "They're abysmal, little more than holding cells. Jackson must close this place and relocate the animals to an accredited zoo or sanctuary."
Jackson's camp has declined to comment on the allegation.
Seriously, Bubbles probably grew up to be a large, mean, nasty, predatory male chimp that would bite Jacko's privates off as soon as he'd look at him. Of course, looking at Jacko in his present state might encourage Bubbles even more.
I'm sooooo worried.

Wait: Jackson still has external privates?
I think molesting boys AND abusing animals is worth making an issue. They say that many who abuse start with animals.
This one is too easy...

PeTA vs. Michael Jackson? I can't stand these dilemmas. Which one do I hate more?
As much as I despise Jacko, I utterly refuse to accept anything PETA claims at face value. If these animals really are being abused and neglected, it'll be reported by the local authorities. Until then, this article is crap.
