George Clooney is convinced he ruined John Kerry's chances in the race for US president in 2004 - by snubbing an invitation and hurting his feelings.
The Ocean's Twelve actor was one of several screen stars invited to ride on Kerry's election train, but it all went downhill for the Democrat when Clooney stayed away.
He recalls: "Kerry asked me to ride on his train - he had a train going cross-country after he was nominated and some actors went on board. I called him and explained that I couldn't do it. I'd hurt him. I'd actually caused him harm at the polls."

He is a good looking man....until he opens his mouth. I've only seen one of his movies. Dusk to Dawn, which was possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. None of the characters were the least bit likable including Clooney.

For Clooney, it's all about looks. Not one character have I seen, that he's portrayed, had an ounce of emotion that came through the screen and hit me. Plastic has more charm.

Interesting that you say that. Dusk to Dawn did not have one character who had any charm. Quentin Tarantino's character was really a vicious sicko. Tarantino played a character named Ritchie. When he is horribly murdered, I thought, good, he deserved that. Ritchie and his brother Seth (? I think it was Seth), are two of the most hideous "heroes" in any movie that I have ever seen. I couldn't either relate to, or like the "good guys." There was no one in this movie that I could root for. Every performance in Dusk to Dawn was plastic and none of it was charming. LOL!

(If being a Christian was a crime, would there be enough evidence to convict you?)
