Ahmadinejad says Iran wants to investigate EU rights abuses (Insanity Alert)

Tehran, Iran, Jan. 14 –

Radical Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad demanded once again on Saturday that Iran be permitted to send inspectors to evaluate “human rights abuses” in the European Union.

In a press conference in Tehran which was aired on state television, Ahmadinejad said that Tehran was ready to dispatch a committee to states which accuse it of violating human rights. Iran would then allow inspectors from those countries to come to Iran to carry out their evaluations, he said.

“We will send teams to write and publish reports on the condition of jails, tortures, discriminations, election procedures, economic actions that end up against the benefit of their people, support for terrorists, as well as the judicial, parliamentary, and administrative systems of countries that claim to speak out for human rights.

He said that he had yet to receive a response from Western countries regarding his proposal.

He mocks the EU, and I don't see any reason for him not to.

I say they allow his committee to 'investigate' as long as he is personally present at the time..(wink)

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is having a ball screwing with the EU, but I'll bet when he gets nukes he'll lob them at Israel in a heart beat, thusly ending Iran's existence in this world, as Israel unloads it's nuclear arsenal on Iran.

Exactly. What is the eu going to do about it? Nothing, and Iran knows it.

This guy is very creative. It must be difficult to come up with a unique yet even crazier statement every darned day. His writers must be working around the clock.

The same thing the EU does about every problem. Ditherf**k for untold months until the US takes care of it.

I'm quite sure he intimidates the EU diplomats. Fortunately, they have Condi to turn to.

This lunatic will accomplish much....

He will either lead the sane Iranians to overthrow the lunatics -- and effect "regime change" in Iran...

Or

He will force the civilized world to destroy LARGE sections of Iran.....

Semper Fi

Iran will be a great country again when they hang the mullahs from the lampposts. Methinks that is their future.

See what happens when the liberals treat demonstrably false (US) human rights abuses and make/exaggerate/promote false torture claims "seriously"?

The REAL abusers hide behind the false claims, legitimize the false claims, then make counterclaims to ridicule and attack the countries that actually have "human rights".

(Gee, how many human rights (and lefts) will get melted and burned when his nuclear bomb goes off?)

That was also suggested by freeper GermanBusiness earlier this week. Very clever thinking...Ahmadinejad, the provocateur.

I say call his bluff. Can anyone think that the comparison would end up in Iran's favor? One example: Elections. Iran is effectively not a democracy. There is a committee that rejects any person running for office that they don't like. Imagine if the Democrats ran that committee and if you're not communist red, a bleeding liberal, an extremist leftist, you are rejected. Then they give you a choice among people who espouse the same ideology. And call it Democracy. That's effectively what happens in Iran.

I wonder how "responsive" Israel will be when they KNOW that the next incoming IRBM missiles coming from (insert ANY Muslim country name here) could be armed with nuclear weapons?

In Iraq War I, they "let" the inbound missile land, and "let" the US try to protect them with Patriot batteries and guerrilla squads looking for the portable launchers in the Iraqi desert.

(Neither scheme worked very well, despite thousands of people hunting for the missiles) and the Israelis KNOW IT.)
