he President met with Germany's new Chancellor Angela Merkel in the Oval Office today, they spoke about a wide range of issues including Iran, Iraq, Ariel Sharon and Club GITMO in Cuba. After their meeting in the Oval Office the two leaders held a press conference East room of the White House. The President also hosted a visit to the Oval Office by the U.S. Solheim Cup womens Golf Team. The President also met with Business leaders in the Oval Office to discuss relief efforts in Central America

The German Chancellor Angela Merkel as pictured in the 5th picture of post # 11, is I think, my favorite one of her. I'm pleased to see her looking so pleasant and at peace. It is evident that she and George Bush hit it off okay.

I sure have, now we see the Conservatives in Canada (of all places) on the rise

As far as grandpop knows fine he has restrained himself from ringing to let his daughter settle into routine with hubby and grand child number one.

He takes the view no news good news, if there is a problem she would ring. Also her sister was going up to see her today so he decided to let them enjoy the time without interruption.

Hubby's parents were going to look after Elsie the first one last night and then she was coming home today; it will be interesting to hear how she views little sister. She has been excited about having a sister so hopefully there will not be problems and she either will be fascinated or not that particularly interested.

Here is Elsie at about 6 months, the high chair has been in the family for about 70/80 years plus years

Elsie is fairly small for her age and Geraldine is always having health visitors/doctors/nurses expressing concern about it but as Geraldine says she is only about 5 foot tall and very very petite, turn sideways and you cannot see her she is hardly likely to have a large baby. She is healthy and seems intelligent if a little lazy probably a bit of a late developer and does not see why she should do things until she has to. A bit like her mum and granddad I would say LOL.

Indeed it is and he has had his share of the bad recently he deserves some good.

I mean liberals in Europe and Canada have gotten "hate speech" laws into effect. So if you question their homosexual agenda and doctrines or their revision of marriage and family, you could be arrested and stand trial for hate speech. The same with opposing immigration or any other race or sex program or social ideology installed by the left in the EU or the European nation involved.

Dad recovering after MRI scan yesterday feels sore and tired as they made him lay flat and with his back problems this is difficult and painful.

That was a major part of it, but the truth is that the Democrats asked three questions over an over for 5 days

1. Why did YOU strip search a ten year old girl?

2. Why did you forget to recuse yourself 12 after you promised to do so on anything linked to Vanguard?

3. Why do you want to give George W. Bush more power to torture anyone he pleases and make him our new Distator?
