Congressman Harold Ford Jr. called on U.S. Congressional members Van Hilleary, Ed Bryant and Bob Corker "to give to charity any and all contributions they have ever received from corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff and his associates." "Van Hilleary, Bob Corker and Ed Bryant should disclose what Jack Abramoff and his associates gave them over the years and they should donate that money to a charity of their choice immediately", Ford said. In recent days, President Bush, House Speaker Dennis Hastert, Tom Delay and other senior members of Congress have either returned or donated Jack Abramoff corrupt money to charity. Van Hilleary, Bob Corker and Ed Bryant should do the same thing. He said Abramoff "is the center of the one of the most egregious lobbying scandal ever. Earlier this week he pleaded guilty to fraud, conspiracy to bribe public officials and tax evasion."

1....Oops, hypocrite and fraud Harold Ford Jr. "forgot" to disclose to the public they he also received Abramoff Group Scandal (AGS) cash, from four of fourteen Democrats that were Jack Abramoff Group (JAG) lobbyists as follows:

Democrat Edward Ayoob                $  500
   Was a key staff member to AGS Dem Harry Reid before joining JAG from '01 - '04
   While a key lobbyist with JAG, Ayoob donated $4,000 to Reid, for lobbying client kickbacks,
       held a fundraiser for Reid at JAG's law offices/employer being Greenberg Traurig (GT),
       and GT also donated $19,941 to Sen. Reid - his 18th single largest donor.
   100% of Ayoob's $49,000+ donations were to Dem U.S. Congress members, most AGS involved.
   Ayoob left Greenberg Traurig in order to not be forced to resign, due to his AGS involvement.
   From '97 - '98, Edward Ayoob was the Assistant Finance Director for Harry Reid's PAC,
       "Friends for Harry Reid", and on the PAC's payroll. During that time Reid's PAC was FEC
       fined for improper payroll accounting involving $316,737 in payroll expenditures.
   At 01.10.06, per a highly knowledgeable source, Ayoob is under DOJ criminal investigation for
       his AGS role, along with Sen. Harry Reid and the law firm of Greenberg Traurig. Sen. Reid has
       significant AGS involvement.

Democrat Stephanie Leger Short     $ 250
   Leger Short was a key Legislative staff member to AGS Dem John Breaux before joining JAG,
       '01 - '04, at the law firm of Greenberg Traurig (GT). GT forced Leger Short to resign 04.30.04,
       due to her role in the AGS.
   Leger Short's husband is a key Legislative staff member to AGS Dem Byron Dorgan.
   While working as an JAG lobbyist, Leger Short made a donation to Byron Dorgan.
   100% of Legar Short's political donations were to Democrat U.S. Congressional Members.
   Leger Short is now a key DC staff member to LA Dem Gov Kathleen Babineaux Blanco.
   At 01.10.06, per a highly knowledgeable source, Leger Short is currently under DOJ criminal investigation
       for her AGS role. The DOJ investigation also includes Dem Byron Dorgan and Dem ex-Sen ('04)
       John Breaux. Both Congressmen had significant AGS involvement.

Democrat Michael D. Smith            $2,223
   Smith's wife is Legislative Director for AGS Dem Tom Harkin.
   JAG lobbyist Smith personally assisted Tom Harkin write a letter, in behalf of an JAG client, for
       specific donation kickbacks to Harkin.
   As a JAG lobbyist, Smith donated over $173,000, 100% to Top U.S. Dem Congressional members,
       for JAG client influence and political favors/kickbacks, including Harkin, Reid, Dorgan ($14,500),
       Murray, Cantwell, Durbin, H. Clinton, and many more Dems, including Harold Ford. Smith's
       JAG member donations, at Greenberg Traurig, were #1. 2nd was Abramoff at $147,420 (100% Repubs)
       Smith also donated to a top George Soros organization, America Coming Together.
   JAG insiders stated Smith was the Democrat alter-ego to Republican Jack Abramoff.
   At 01.10.06, per a highly knowledgeable source, Smith is under DOJ criminal investigation
       for his AGS role. Dem Tom Harkin, who received significant AGS donations, is also under
       current DOJ investigation.
   Like Stephanie Leger Short, Smith was forced to resign by GT. Like Abramoff and Scanlon,

       and kickbacks, but also JAG client over-billing and submitting fraudulent billing statements.

   While a lobbyist for JAG, 100% of Slomowitz $37,000+ donations were to Democrats, many tied

01.11.06 - FlAttorney says: Finally back in the political saddle after the holidays. There is a "GOP friendly" group, that is heavily investigating the Jack Abramoff Group (JAG) Scandal. It is separate and not related to what the NRSC is doing. I have two attorney's and two staff from my Miami based law Firm involved in the investigation since 12.15.05. Based on our investigation, the Democrats have significant criminal liability in this scandal, and in the last two weeks, the DOJ investigations have taken significant notice of this fact. In regards to our JAG Scandal: "Dems of Corruption" Investigation, we now have 14 Democrat Lobbyists, and three secondary Firm partners, that worked directly for/with Jack Abramoff's Lobbyist Group. Six JAG Democrat members are already under serious DOJ criminal investigation, which is opening up investigations on key Democrat U.S. congressional members.

Further, the detailed list we posted last month reflecting $1.5 million Abramoff Group tied cash going to hypocrite Democrats, has now risen to $2.4 million, to-date. We should be able to post key info from our investigation at the end of January.

There is a key word and that word is "Group". Jack Abramoff ran a very powerful DC Lobbying Group, from 1994 - 2004, within two top and powerful U.S. law firms being Preston, Gates, Ellis LLP (PGE), and then Greenberg Traurig LLP (GT). JAG's lobbyist size and power became very large over the years. While the mindless MSM focuses on Abramoff, Scanlon and Kidan, the real focus should be (and is the DOJ's focus) Abramoff's Lobbyist Group, that were significantly involved in this scandal with numerous U.S. Congressional members on "both sides of the isle".

About the two Firms JAG worked for: - - The firm of William H. Gates Sr., father of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, merged with Preston in 1990. The later old line Seattle firm started when Harold Preston relocated to Seattle from Iowa in 1883 and began practicing law. Jim Ellis joined Preston in 1949. Members of JAG were registered lobbyists for Microsoft. During the 90's PGE became a Top 10 lobbying Firm based on lobbying gross revenue. Much of their lobbying success and revenue was due to the success of JAG.

Greenberg Traurig LLP is a relative "new" Firm, founded in 1967 in Miami by Mel Greenberg and two attorneys. Today GT is an international, full-service law firm with 1,500 attorneys and governmental professionals in The Americas, Europe and Asia. The firm is eighth on The National Law Journal's NLJ 250 listing of the largest law firms in the U.S. and ninth among The American Lawyer's Am Law 100, based on number of lawyers. Approximately 60% of the Firm's political PAC, and overall individual US members, political donations goes to Democrats. GT wanted JAG, and money lured them away (anything they wanted per Firm insiders) from PGE in late 2000. One more thing, let's just say I know my way around the GT Miami office quite well.

Junior's father, Harold Ford, Sr. was caught up in the House Banking Scandal several years ago. Sr. was in the top five in terms of total checks written, but NUMERO UNO in total $$$ amount. I didn't trust Sr. and I sure don't trust Jr.. Jr. is just more polished BSer than his daddy was. IMHO, Jr. will not win his race for US Senator from TN. He's got to win middle and east Tennessee, and that ain't gonna happen.

His Aunt Ophelia ran for John's seat and won by 13 votes. An investigation has proved that the results of the election cannot be trusted because several dead people, ineligible ex-cons, and people outside the district voted in the election. Hell, neither John nor Ophelia even LIVE in the district that they "represent". You can't be raised in an outhouse and not have the smell of sh*t on you.

Tell me about it. I live in Memphis and am sickened daily by the antics of this corrupt Ford clan. Every time you think they can't achieve a new low, they surprise you. Also, Harold Sr. put together a racialy exclusive conclave to field a candidate for mayor that, in his words, "looks like us". He gave us Willie Herenton who's been mayor of Memphis since 1991. We can't get rid of him. He ruined the city like he ruind the school board when he was superintendent. Where is Harold, Sr. now? He's a lobbyist living in Florida. Even he doesn't want to be part of the travesty that the Herenton reign has become. I can't wait to be part of the exudos form Memphis for that reason. Herenton and the Fords can have it.

2.    JAG lobbyist Smith personally assisted Tom Harkin, and his sister Pam Smith, Harkin's Legislative Director, in writing at least three letters in 2003 pressing government officials, in the Interior Department, to release federal money to help a JAG's client, the Sac & Fox tribe in Iowa, due to a temporary closing of its casino, from a tribal dispute. For Dem Harkin's, and Smith's sister's effort, Harkin collected $17,000 from lobbyist Michael D. Smith and other Abramoff Group members in 2003. The Sac & Fox also gave $4,000 more to Harkin in 2004,  about six months after the federal government allowed the tribe's casino to reopen. Based on current TDC-TLG research, Harkin's has received $48,066 in AGS donations, which includes prima facie illegal kickbacks. Harkin's, and his office is presently under DOJ investigation, due to AGS involvement.
3.   As a JAG lobbyist, Smith donated over $173,000, 100% to key U.S. Dem Congressional members for JAG client influence and political favors/kickbacks including Dorgan ($14,500); Harkin ($8,000); Reid, Murray, Cantwell, Durbin, H. Clinton, HAROLD FORD, and many more AGS Democrats.  Smith's JAG member donations, at Greenberg Traurig LLC were #1. 2nd was Abramoff at $147,420, donated 100% to Republicans.
4.   JAG lobbyist Smith paid $973.55 for a dinner reception for Harold Ford Jr. on March, 12, 2002.
5.  Smith also donated to a top George Soros organization, America Coming Together.
6.   JAG insiders stated Smith was the Democrat alter-ego to Republican Jack Abramoff.
7.   Smith served as the Midwest Political Director for the Gore-Lieberman 2000 campaign.  In this position, Mike coordinated the campaign's efforts in 8 states, including Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.  Previously, Mike served as a liaison between the White House, campaign staff and local, state and federal officials during the Clinton-Gore 1996 campaign.  He co-founded The Winning Margins, a political action committee dedicated to raising funds for Democratic candidates through low dollar fundraising events.  Mike remains active in Democratic politics and continues to advise numerous members of Congress and other elected officials on both political and substantive matters. According to Steve Hildebrand, who was Tom Daschle's 2004 campaign manager, Michael Smith "helped with a lot of Democratic campaigns." Tom Daschle received over $81,000 of AGS donations.
8.   At 01.10.06, per a highly knowledgeable source, Smith is under DOJ criminal investigation for his AGS role. Like Stephanie Leger Short, Smith was forced to resign by GT. Like Abramoff and Scanlon, Leger Short and Smith are being investigated by the DOJ, not only for Congressional members bribes and kickbacks, but also JAG client over-billing and submitting fraudulent billing invoices.

JAG Democrat  Alan Slomowitz:            $1,000
1.  Slomowitz was a registered lobbyist on many AGS clients.
2.  While a JAG member he donated over $30,000, 100% to Democrats including AGS involved congressional members Reid, Durbin, Cantwell, Carper, Nelson, HAROLD FORD, and many more AGS Democrats.
3.    Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig LLC and JAG, Slomowitz, for ten years, was Chief-of-Staff to Rep. Robert A. Borski (D-PA), who was senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Slomowitz also served on the staff of the Investigative and Oversight Subcommittee of the Public Works and Transportation Committee when Rep. Borski served as Chairman.
4.  Slomowitz has significant DNC political involvement over the last twenty years. He was a senior campaign staff member on many presidential and congressional elections including Michael Dukakis for President; Dick Gephardt for President; and Bill Clinton for President.
5.  At 01.10.06, per a highly knowledgeable source, Slomowitz is currently under secondary DOJ criminal investigation for his AGS role. Borski is currently not under investigation.
