Kate Michelman is the face of reproductive rights. It's a thin face with high cheekbones, dark eyes that can light up and a mouth with a corner that upturns at comic moments.
For a generation, Michelman, 63, has been at the forefront of one of this country's thorniest debates. She was president of NARAL Pro-Choice America from 1985 to 2004. She is scheduled to testify this week in opposition to the nomination of Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court. And she has written a new book, "With Liberty and Justice for All: A Life Spent Protecting the Right to Choose."
Last night several hundred friends and well-wishers showed up at the Woman's National Democratic Club near Dupont Circle for cheese, wine and a celebration Michelman's book and her mission. Guests included former secretary of state Madeleine Albright, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton and Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.).

I'd say it might be her guilty conscience, but people like her have no conscience.
This is what the "pro-choice" groups are fighting for.

Albright told everyone that Michelman had provided "a voice for those who didn't have a voice and a brain for those who didn't have a brain."
Are you kidding me? I assume there was an awkward silence after this quote.
I bet you Michelman's abortion story is a little on the fabricated side. Yeh - in 1969 she was such a fundamental Catholic she did not believe in birth control but now leads NARAL. Let me conjecture that she was angry at being left by her husband and decided she wanted some payback. Doesn't read as well on the bio though.
If she can't take care of it, why not put the little darlin' up for adoption?
Have two little girls. Had to put some thought into "What if your teenager gets pregnant?" God willing, won't happen until they are married and ready, but had to give it some thought. Plan is (after hiding the body of the "father") they get to carry the child to term (sex has consequences) and then put it up for adoption (they're not ready to care for the child and Mommy and Daddy are not going to do it for them).
Tough, even cruel, but instructive, I think.

She had a right to be really, really angry. Yet you never hear her talk about the ex-husband. All you know is that she killed child #4.
This is misdirected rage that has dominated her soul for more than 30 years.
Even if she'd kept the baby and killed the husband, she would have been out of prison by now. But she's in a prison of her own making. We need to pray for her.
Just like the politician that has little time because he give 150% to nis job.
How many children does Ann Coulter have? I've never heard.

(sorry, everyone - I have no idea why that posted twice).
I don't believe she's married. Could be wrong, but I have never heard that she is.
And here I thought it was Linda Tripp.
I was asking; I don't know anything about her private life. (Are you Irene Adler, "THE" woman, according to Sherlock Holmes? :) )
Yes.
...."of dubious and questionable memory." ;-D
There are few more dispicable human beings.
Hah!
Ann Coulter is not married, has no children.

Thank you. Thank you. :)
