"He never used impeachment but that's what he was saying."
You nailed it. The problem that we have is that If one part of our Government is out of control, it is because another part isn't doing it's job, and Impeachment is part of upholding your duties and doing that job. The justices who voted for Kelo vs. New England should have had impeachment hearings commencing the next day.
Iw wonder who's wearing more tinfoil tonight: Chucky, Chrissy or Teddy?
"My biggest fear is Senator Byrd resting up right now."
"Back when I was a KKK recruiter, those were exciting days for me. Exciting! ... Exciting. Ex-ci-ting! Yes indeed. And I help my party learn how to empathize with terrorists. I understand terrorists. I can see their point of view. After all, I was a terrorist, myself. A terorist myself. A ... terrorist ... myself. Yes indeed."
The chances of a Democratic filibuster grew even more remote last night when a spokeswoman for Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine, a pivotal moderate Republican, began putting out word tonight that Ms. Snowe had decided to oppose such a move. Ms. Snowe's decision greatly decreases the already-dwindling chances that the Democrats could successfully block Judge Alito.
She was one of seven Republicans who helped break a logjam over judicial nominations earlier this year in part by blocking their party's leaders from changing the Senate rules to prevent such filibusters. She is the third of the seven to say they would oppose a filibuster over Judge Alito and thus back the rule change, ensuring the Republican leaders have the votes necessary to confirm the judge in any event. The other two are Senator Mike DeWine of Ohio and Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
LOL! typical children!
they are a laughing stock at thsi point...except to lunatics...the lunatics think they are heros!
LOL!
I am glad someone else saw it...
For me, it was kind of like a football game...I wanted someone here with me to cheer with!!!
WOW...that was a lot of work...thanks for posting that!
FYI, for those who didn't listen to Ingraham this morning, she's on http://www.wabcradio.com
Coming up, Judge Napolitano who was Laura's boss at CAP.
Lindsey Graham on O'Reilly now. Really going after Durbin and Kennedy. This is the good Lindsey twin...the evil twin has been locked away, apparently.
The rats ended up looking like a pack of KGB Thugs...after all their nastiness...then Mrs. Alito runs out of the room crying...LOL...their image couldn't be worse...
Yes, Jane! OH, how we can pray that the other evil twin never resurfaces.
LOL...yeppers...McCain must still be in Antarctica...so Graham doesn't have to worry about getting in trouble...for being conservative!
The little used word Eunuch best describes those left wing senators whose only tenticle left to hold on to power with is attached to a left wing, hairy, "right to choose" hag.
Thanks for the heads up...I didn't hear any talk radio today because of the hearings...
Jeckyll and Hyde syndrome? LOL
Yeah, Lindsey can play the conservative fairly well. He got elected in South Carolina after all. And he's certainly not stupid, decent actor being a lawyer. Most of what he said was pretty good, but Linds is in the spotlight right now among his constituents that haven't forgiven the Fourteen. He's still a McCain bandwagon guy. However, I WILL give him credit for the kindness to Alito's family. I'm not so cynical or prejudiced to not give him due for that kindness...no matter the temptation. ;-) Thank you, Senator Graham, for that graciousness to the family.
ROFLLLL!!
Your description of the episodes is worth buying tickets!
LOL!
YOU ROCK!
You are sooooo hysterical!
LOL!
DOWN GOES FATFACE!
ROFLL!
Sunny Ronald Reagan smile back at you.
While watching the sessions on the telly, Senator Sessions from Alabama seems like he would make a good pick in '08. Don't know much about him other than watching him with Alito, but after watching the Senator from Illinois' facial expressions and that grump Kennedy, the GOP could do worse. I wish he was the senator from my state.
Senator Patrick Leahy taking a photo of his hero Ted Kennedy.
Thank you ma'am....it is so seldom that we get to see an actual smackdown on these shows...that I just got carried away!!
