Senator Hatch was just on the Tony Snow show and he is PISSED. Bad sign for the Democrats when the Republican Senators are this mad at THEM.

It's clear Leahy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

Probably because Alito has been a Federal Judge for 15 years.
Plus, he said it was a Con Law case of the day that first got him interested in Law as a career, when he was a young guy and the one-man-one-vote case was handed down. His dad worked for the NJ legislature as a staffer and was concerned with how the decision would be implemented in the drawing of district lines especially at the state level. Not that he was against one-man-one-vote exactly, but just worried how it would be implemented.
No wonder Alito is the best!

No offense intended, but can we quit with the mouse convo? I'm trying to follow the hearing. I was trying to follow it too, but I can't follow Leahy, so I decided to comment on the mouse convo. Sorry.

It always seems that way! I wish that after these men were confirmed they could come back and tell these Senators a thing or two.

A freeper reported that ABC presented the story the same way as CNN's late night reporting -- that Graham made Mrs. Alito cry and she wouldn't return until he apologized.
And they played the tape of Graham apologizing (but not the part where it was clear he was apologizing on behalf of the Rats).

I really wish CNN and the MSM would cover this live. This is a truly remarkable experience which clearly proves that the cream doesn't rise to the top. I would be (and am) personally embarrassed to say these people were my senators.

Graham is an utter fool. I can't believe how rude he is not letting Alito finish his answers. What a goober.
