Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

Funny, I thought anyone who became Hillary Clinton's "submissive" would be beyond troubled.
I just went over to DU. They are spinning! Truly, truly a disturbing bunch over there.
One great response Alito didn't give to Durbin. The democrats have paid lip service to the idea that the law has to be applied the same to everybody, that the weakest should have the same access to justice as the powerful.
But in the case of the 10-year-old, Durbin specifically asked Alito if he shouldn't have taken into account that it was a woman and a 10-year-old girl in making his determination.
As if it had been an innocent man and a 20-year-old boy they shouldn't have had the same laws applied to them.....
The witnesses for the Left will undoubtedly be even more embarassing then their elected Senators, though it would be tough to surpass Ted and Joe.
However, I'm looking forward to the witnesses for Alito as they include Liberal and Republican Judges. Should be inteesting.

This guy is a complete political hack and moron. The Filibuster has NOT existed all thru American History. It has NO legal standing, it is a RULE of the Senate that should be flushed as an 18th Century anachronism. You can respect Minority rights ONLY as long the Minority ACTS responsible. There is NO justification for it. Chemerinsky is the worst sort of pseudo intellectual. One who makes up his principals based on his politics THEN try to find a intellectually valid reason to justify it. He is scum.
