I have a post about this on my blog I hope to update when more information comes in on this. I'm asking you all to let me know if you know anything about this, because I couldn't find much other than bloggers talking about it, but it all started with a blog called "The Politicker" at the New York Observer's site, only it wasn't sourced. I would expect them to be responsible enough to have checked this before running with it though, and it's nothing "unbelievable" anyway.

The long and the short is the Belafonte (who just called Bush the "greatest terrorist" in the world the other day) is set to appear with Hillary at some Children's Defense Fund benefit.

Now that even the AARP is distancing themselves, how does everyone thing Hillary will handle it? Will the Clinton machine force the group to ask him not to come? Will Hillary make a statment of disagreement sometime before the event?

Again, hopefully as the morning goes on we'll hear more about this...

This is a strategic error on Billary's part and will come back to haunt her in her '08 run for the WH. Belafonte is so anti-American that only the vilest fringe element leftists will approve of her doing this.

If she doesn't take the opportunity to disavow his comments and/or any association with him, her WH aspirations are going to go bye-bye.

lol, well I guess that's true... he does terrorize the dictionary and any sticklers for pronunciation from time to time... I guess I was subconsciously emulating him when I left a typo in the title of the thread.
