It has ben my opinion from the beginning that the decision was made to include Airbus in negotiations to drive down Boeing's price. I think this is a smart business decision . . . as long as they end up buying Boeing.

All the folks that say outsourcing is bad for the U.S economy need to think this through. The investment boom in India has created the cash flow for them to be able to afford aircraft so the money did come back. Indians buy several other U.S. made products in the entertainment, computer hardware and technology industries which support jobs here. This is proof positive that globalization and outsurcing is good for the economy as a whole. Some individuals do get adversely impacted, they just need to adapt to the new growing industries and they too can thrive. Creative destruction has been a major factor in U.S. prosperity and this is great news indeed for the the U.s economy.
