All the folks that say outsourcing is bad for the U.S economy need to think this through. The investment boom in India has created the cash flow for them to be able to afford aircraft so the money did come back. Indians buy several other U.S. made products in the entertainment, computer hardware and technology industries which support jobs here. This is proof positive that globalization and outsurcing is good for the economy as a whole. Some individuals do get adversely impacted, they just need to adapt to the new growing industries and they too can thrive. Creative destruction has been a major factor in U.S. prosperity and this is great news indeed for the the U.s economy.
Dear Maneesh,
You mean... as several hundred million Indians join the First World middle class, they'll... buy more stuff??
And more stuff will have to be... produced??
Resulting overall in greater production, worldwide, of goods and services??
Who'd a' thunk it?!?
