I was hoping the republicans would put the guy back on the witness list after the dems took him off. He wrote something today complaining about how the republicans were afraid of him or something.

Right now they are taking some fairly serious damage. Biden spent the day putting the fire out that he lit on himself. Reid and Dorgan have been revealed as targets of an ongoing federal investigation with connections to Abramoff. Kennedy beat Alito down so incoherently and so viciously that Alito's wife had to leave the chamber - a fact that ended up on Drudge's site - which means the entire world knows about it.
Worse, Alito's picked the battlefield - he has both the facts and the law on his side. No idiot Senator, especially when the GOP has done such a great job defending him, is going to touch the guy.
Why invite a third day of this on yourself? How do you top yourself in terms of self-immolation?

Alito is looking Graham's way.

I have been watching Cspan 1, and both yesterday and today, they have gotten Mr Alito's mouth out of sync with his words, in many of the split windows. Does anybody else notice this?

That b@st@rd Schumer was up right before Lindsey.
I did note that Spector was very abrupt in telling Schumer his time was up.
Maybe that is what set off the crying??

I saw her crying during Graham's apology to the Judge, she was touched. Eventually she had to leave the room, as even Graham was starting to tear up. I had my back turned and didn't catch it but I hope her reaction makes the front page of every newpaper tomorrow! If they're honest in reporting it, they'd have to explain how Graham apologized for the actions of the dems and that should make the public as outraged as we are.

Chuckie with a hammer...
Define hammer. I got a 5 pound maul that LOOKS sort of like a hammer....
