The Megyn Kendall love affair is sadly over, I could not come to terms with her being otherwise married to another man, so we are through.

Huh??

“I don’t agree with the idea that the Constitution always trumps stare decisis.”

Would you want to be on record with an "always statement" if you were about to become a SC justice? The law is about exceptions. If it were not so, we could use computers.

Alito should just say: "Thats right... Roe is NOT supported by the constitution. Roe IS supported by precident. In either case its not the judge's position to declair one or the other dominent"

Alito was nominated by George H. W. Bush on February 20, 1990 to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Alito was rated by the American Bar Association as "Well Qualified" at the time of his nomination. He was confirmed by unanimous consent in the Senate on April 27, 1990[10]. As a Third Circuit judge, his chambers are in Newark, New Jersey.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Judge Samuel Alito on Wednesday gained the American Bar Association's highest rating for a Supreme Court nominee, giving him a boost before next week's Senate confirmation hearings. ...

The "well qualified" rating -- the highest -- is the same one that Alito earned in 1990 when President Bush's father, George H.W. Bush, nominated him to the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Durbin is no longer a Catholic. He apostized long ago, as evidenced by his line of questioning now.

I wish Alito would simply say ABORTION IS NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION. All arguments regarding it must be heard and therefore decided upon!!!

I think you've come to a wise decision.

Are you troubled, puzzled, saddened? Dims are....

I thought about Ms. Miers yesterday and realized that she would have been chewed up and spit out had the committee asked anything of her like they did of Alito. That said, however, she was nominated by the president and deserved to get her hearing.

When/if Stevens or Ruth "Buzzy" Ginsburg retires Bush should assured to appoint Brown, Owens, etc. with extreme confidence.

I agree. Unless we lose the Senate, which is not going to happen. That would change the equation.

Durbin is killing me. He was all pro-life hosting pro-life events in IL UNTIL the dems decided they were pro-abortion and then he switched positions!!

Would be fabulous if Alito was able to bring that little fact up.

I don't understand; this Senator is showing he doesn't understand Alito but forming it in the shape of an accusation.
