One correction. The U/S. military does not lose wars. Our corrupt congress loses wars.

The truly sad part is that a lot of the film festival attendees DO "get it". Never underestimate the nihilism of the hard left.

A significant number of the Bawbwa Streisands, Mickey Moores, and Howie Deanies of the world WANT our society to be utterly destroyed so it can be remade in their own image. The author wastes his words. The left is simply unable to see see it. They do not live in the real world and, accordingly, lack the ability to think anywhere beyond two seconds in advance. To be sure, they THINKL they are visionaries who see a way to long lasting eutopian peace where we all just "get along." What they will never, ever, ever understand is that: 1)evil exists; 2) evil just is, well, evil; and 3) you cannot have peace if you simply capitulate to evil.

To wit, the left believes that if we stop fighting the other side will as well. Its just that simple. (And they say we conservatives think in black and white) In the end, if we stop fighting, that is it, evil wins and it won't stop until we are all living under a islamo facisist regime (the latest incarnation of evil on this earth). I suppose the left is ok with that, however, because failing to accept evil they probably believe they will just be able to hit the streets en masse and shout "no justice, no peace" to bring about peaceful change to the islamo facisit regime. But, as the author stated so well, it won't sink in that they are dealing with evil and evil does not cut deals until the bullets, flame throwers and explosives hit the million idiot march.
