Incidentally, any finding of any House or Senate member or staffer leaking is ALSO proof that they were informed by the President of what was going on. You can't very well leak what you don't know about.
Agreed. That idiot's family name & money will protect him from nearly anything. I can't see a GOP senator with a big enough pair to call him on it.
"In the immortal words of Gomer Pyle:
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!"
And, in the immortal words of Kurtwood Smith (father on That 70's Show), "What a dumbass!" : )
I hope nobody gets their hopes up on this one. A thorough investigation is likely to reveal that nobody in D.C. committed any crime by "leaking" this information to the New York Times.
Did you see the look of Jay-Baby's face after he made that announcement to Chris Wallace about telling Syria, et al about the proposed invasion? It was like: "Oh, crap, what did I just say? I think I just s**t in my mess kit!" It was priceless and spoke volumes of his complicity in the leaks.
What is it with these liberals, they can't help themselves. Any chance to undermine the National Security of this country they jump at it.
This is why Senator Leaky (Depends) Leahey was kicked off of the Intelligence Committee.
And why in more honorable times, he'd be subject to the firing squad as a traitor.
"And why in more honorable times, he'd be subject to the firing squad as a traitor."
Or at least tarred & feathered. If you have not read 1776 by David McCollough (sp?), you should pick it up its a very good read on the American Revolution and says what they did to traitors & spies.
I have that book. It's about 3rd in line on my reading schedule. I thoroughly enjoyed his book on John Adams, so I'm looking forward to this as well.
Loose lips deserve a fat lip.
Just means he'll end up on the Judiciary Committee with Leaky.
I'll believe it when I see it, and if it is true, do you think anything will be done about it? I remember the Clinton fiasco and saying, "He's toast. He won't be able to get out of this one." We all know what happened there.
As a West Virginian though, I am hopeful of removing our senators any way we (legally) can.
Can't stand Benedict Rockefeller. He has that same arrogant, northeastern liberal "Do you know who I am" look that Kerry has. He was a northeastern carpetbagger that went to WV to get elected to the senate. Must be a dem/lib/socialist thing to be able to pull the wool over the voters' eyes -- the Heinous Harridan Hillary did the same thing in NY.
How'd you do that???
< He was a northeastern carpetbagger that went to WV to get elected to the senate. >
Yup. He did it up big. Came to Emmons, WV to "get his hands dirty" as a Vista volunteer back when he was 27. The "poor folk" were enamored of the name and wealth. Only other thing he had to do was reject the Republican party of his family and become a Democrat to win in WV. It was that easy. The rest is, as they say, history.
A West Virginian who remembers.
As a long as a democRAT/liberal is a leaker they will get a free ride from MSM and be portrayed as a hero "for speaking out".
And as long as you and I expect that and nothing more, you are right. Contact your Senators, demand it. They move when the American people move. Not until.
Hopefully, the good people of WV are fed up with their two dem/lib/socialist senators and will rid themselves of Sheets Byrd this year and Benedict Rockefeller when he comes up for reelection.
