I'm loving the 'swing vote' argument.
what they mean is that o'conner voted the way they liked
alito WILL be a swing vote -- but he swings for US!!!

I missed Brit's interview with Jane Harmon this weekend. Can you give a condensed version?
I saw Brit's interview with Jane Harmon Sunday. It was hysterical. Brit had Harmon stuttering and stammering. She looked like a lost schoolgirl. Her alibi for not coming out against the NSA spying program in the two years she was briefed was that she was too stupid to understand it. lol

I wish Hatch followed both Leahy AND Kennedy.

I would find it interesting if some of the Dims on the committee suddenly hint at it! It wouldn't surprise me if the did
Seems these days that is were the Dems are getting their talking points

At the time, the biggest loser was Schumer. I trust him to impale the Orca and the Leaker when necessary

My question was rhetorical. The non-scholar Ted Kennedy, w/HS grades of C, was admitted the first time as a legacy admission, but his serial dishonorable actions should have told them that Harvard itself was also dishonorable in readmitting him....$$$ or no $$$.

True. And certainly it would be perjury if he really could remember it. But that would be rather difficult to prove.
