That's what I mean. And before I'm flamed, I understand why they must do it, but I'm not liking some of these answers.
That said, the sooner he's seated, the happier I'll be!

But how many days can they go on? Three right? Thursday's hearings are scheduled, and Alito is not on the hot seat for that. The Senators get a second round tomorrow.
To: mware
Not me, I'm just a pilot, I cant count that high.

I still wish we could get a nominee who could say the truth about abortion.
That was funny, he says he keeps telling her he didn't say something, and she keeps saying I know but this is what I want you to have said so I can attack you for it.
To: newnhdad
I'm sure Alito is really working up a sweat having to match the stunning brain power of Dunce Cap Row (the Senate Judiciary Democrats).

If it's anything like the first round they'd be better-served by not showing up.

Good Lord, I remember once that woman once referred to a fertilized embryo as not being a zygote.

Alito just sounded like Rumsfeld there:
This is what I had and you work with what you've got. LOL

I don't like some of his answers. I take small consolation in realising that if this was Miers giving these answers, I would have to eat crow for a lot of posters on FR. This way, I can smirk at them instead. See, its not what is said, it's whose horse is saying it.....
To: newnhdad
why in blazes won't she call it ABORTION???? Voters - seems they are are afraid to use the word lately

he just jammed her on it so she switched the topic..
Take a seat Dianne, you've been owned.

Sleuth. Not Slooth. Sorry. You are a super sleuth.
To: newnhdad
Yeah. I bet many would be surprised to learn that Margaret Sanger(the one whom is hailed) was a bitter woman out to stop inner city women from pro-creating(mostly black women). I'm thinking that would cause many to reconsider motives. But it is kept under wraps, like it was the plague.
To: mware
My God, she actually seems to have given up on the abortion thing. This guy seems untouchable.
