Specter doesn't even listen to the answers to his own questions.

"Like it or not, we need some GOP Moderates to get confirmations" Yes, I understand that. My beef was specifically that he be rewarded with the Chair of this committee.

He'd be much more trouble if he was denied the Chair. As Chair, he is a useful idiot. As a disgruntled Committee member, he'd be a dangerous idiot.

And liberals on the SCOTUS believe that 17 year-old murderers aren't old enough to understand the consequences of their actions, yet 13 year-old girls are mature enough to get abortions on their own.

They are asking questions for the potential clips, not for the answers.

They also believe that 20-year-old Jihad Johnny was just a confused young man when he took up arms against our boys in Afghanistan.
Oops, GWB thought the same thing. Sorry, GWB, sometimes you even disappoint us Bushbots, but we still love ya.

A 15 year old can't receive ibuprofen from the school nurse. But a 15-year-old boy can receive personalized sex ed from a bored 35-year-old female teacher.

Yup; Kennedy is sitting over there stewing about his personal attacks he is about to launch. Watch; he will make it personal today.I saw an interview with Bork in which he said that he ran into Kennedy at a reception after a particularly bloody day during his hearing, and Kennedy said "nothing personal."
