(In Australia, Lebanese Christians have assimilated and become a respected part of our community. The Premier of Victoria is a Lebanese Christian as is the Governor Of New South Wales. However, Lebanese Muslims have encountered serious problems because of their refusal to accept our right to live our way of life.)
Therefore the fact that the gangs are Lebanese is irrelevant. The fact that they are Muslim is totally relevant.
Having my daughter or grandaughter inpregnated by one of these vermin would be more than I could bear. We would have to find some way to get rid of the spawn...it would be too much like having satan's offspring.

I think I see where the problem lies here.
I have a counterproposal for Professor Wikan - that there is something that might properly be termed "Norwegian" society that has as a constituent part the right of a woman to expect everyone there to respect Norwegian law. That's a European minimum. In the United States I'd add the following proposition - women get to shoot the bastards. Not for committing rape, not for threatening it, but for even looking like they might think about considering it at some point in the distant future.
The flaw here is that to such as the Professor, the mere presence of an unassimilated minority confers on the host society the status of "multicultural" and the obligation to tolerate outrageous crime. The premises that lead to such a conclusion are false and evil.
Would the woman then be guilty of a crime for preventing the rape that was supposed to take place because she wasn't wearing a headscarf?

Western countries need to start a zero tolerance policy. If an immigrant or child of an immigrant commits a violent crime, the citizenship of the whole family should be revoked, all members of the family will then undergo fingerprinting and multiple types of biometric idenfication procedures, then deported from the country. All religious leaders must be required to know the native language of the county in which he resides. A foreign religious leader who advocates rape and other heinous crimes should deported immediately as well as his family according to the procedures previously described.

The hell with 'sensitivity'. A crime is a crime. Either they should live by the laws of the land they are in, or they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of those laws--including capital punishment.
Cowering and sniveling has never been the way to earn the respect of an invader, and permitting these terrorists to run roughshod over their culture, their women, and their laws says little good about any of these countries.
