Former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick appears to have run afoul of the law again.

According to WAVY-TV in Hampton Roads, Va., Vick turned himself in to authorities Monday afternoon and is charged with three counts of brandishing a firearm Sunday night. Police say they received a call from the parent of a 17-year-old who said that Vick had pointed a gun at her son and two others during an altercation at a McDonald's parking lot in Suffolk, Va.

Police responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses, and issued three misdemeanor warrants.

Vick is being held on a $10,000 bond. If Vick is convicted, he could face up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine.

"I'd wager Marcus and Maurice will be enjoying equal success as NFL players, which is to say: zero."

There would be some justice in that.

No. This happened this week. Rumors abounded about Vick and his entourage. Vick is a magnet for trouble. People jump in his stuff all the time. He was fairly insulated in Bburg but he's going to get harassed everywhere he goes.

OH Michael is definately his own brand of scum, but there is a difference between sexual promiscuity and criminal activity.

So far what michael has done is just sickening but not illegal.

The Vick family is nothing but a bunch of physicaly talented thugs!!!!!!!

What has Michael Vick done for him to be considered a thug? I'm aware of the "Ron Mexico" incident but I don't see that as thuggish - lots of single guys have sex.

"Vick might as well not even show up to the combine, his chances of getting drafted are nil."

I wish you were right, but I disagree. He'll go mid 3rd, maybe 4th round, just like Maurice Clarett.

Is this man nuts? He has thrown away millions of dollars in the last several weeks.

Better that he "throws it away" now, rather than actually getting the money and doing even more serious damage.

WTF?! Vick threatened three pre-schoolers?!

The smartest thing he could do is transfer to Liberty U and try to walk on. He'd be hard pressed to screw up at Liberty.

I hope the ALL the teams in the NFL get in a big huddle and everyone decides to pass on Marcus in the draft. He has shown,
to be way to immuture to be in the professional ranks. He is nothing more than a more ignorant form of Maurice Clarett.

The problem is he'll have a pending trial and possible one year in jail. Unless he finds a way to clear this up before the draft teams will probably wait a year to see how it all plays out. Any GM that blows a draft pick on a guy that misses his rookie season in jail (especially when the possibility of this was known beforethe draft) will be facing a lot of questions from the owner.

The older brother better worry about his own issues. Mr. Ron Mexico(Michael's alias) is accused of knowingly giving his many lady friends herpies - without informing them of the fact he has it.

He can probably clear it off by saying he was threatened. Money will change hands and all will be forgiven.

But I suspect more will happen. Mike needs to drag him down to Atlanta where no one knows him.

It was herpes he supposedly transmitted. Marcus needs a few days of jail time to teach him a lesson.

Michael Vick = Ron Mexico I

Marcus Vick = Ron Mexico II??????

If you have no idea of who "Ron Mexico" is, just Google it for some more laughs re: the Vick's Brothers!
