I just read a story from AP about Belafonte, hosted on Yahoo News...and then the Yahoo message board associated with it. And, so, yes, the cartoon reflects the grim reality that there are communist, marxists among us who do intend harms to the country and who would rather see communist/marxist rule by drug cartels and the dictators they hire, than any remaining United States as a republic.
It's grim, but it's true.
What I can't figure out is why they prefer these dictators and crumbled, corrupt societies to democracy.
