National Ledger ^ | Jan 5, 2006 | Robert Novak

I think they need to keep Pelosi. What's the deal here? Don't Democrats like women?

Nancy Pelosi is an excellent Minority Leader. The Democrats should never consider replacing her. She is the best thing that ever happened to the Repu... errrr Democrats in a long while.

I am not sure if Novak did such a bad thing. Causing a little tension in the Democratic wing. Perfect! How long have we watched the Democrats walk and vote in lockstep with each other? Until these guys tried to come up with a policy on pulling troops out of Iraq- the Dems acted and voted alike.

From the article- we now see the Dems divided-

"After two weeks of internal debate, Pelosi backed down to Hoyer's position of effectively letting the House members individually pick their own way."

Novak needs to keep on driving the message home that Democrats are not happy with Pelosi.

We never found out from this article, who said this-

"when a very liberal member approached her second-in-command, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, and whispered in his ear: "Steny, is it not time for a coup?""

I think it is perfect. I promise you this- Pelosi is currently going nuts trying to figure who is trying to overthrow her.

---The combination of such senior citizens and the 65-year-old Pelosi produce a mind-numbing product that is not calculated to take advantage of an unpopular war and a climate of scandal---

Except that the war is not particularily unpopular and the climate of scandal exists only in the Dim's imagination, I fully agree.
