I was sitting on the commuter rail when I nearly laughed myself out of my seat while reading a discarded copy of Friday's Boston Herald. What was so funny? Not the comics, but this article on John Kerry criticizing Governor Mitt Romney's hunting trip at the "Sportsmens Challenge" at this weeks Republican Governors Conference.

This jack ass NEVER shuts his yap. Lurch is just a tall sick twisted maggot faggot.
Lurch to his daughter: "Hey honey, I'm going shopping. Would you help me pick out a jock strap.... Does this one fit alright?"
I'm paraphrasing the event. Any FReepers remember this incident?

I don't remember that incident, but you are right: the man is a veritable cornicopia of foot-in-mouth disease boils.

Wasn't Kerry the dude who talked about stalking deer on his belly? The same dude who went out and brought brand new boots for his "photo" as the GREAT WHITE HUNTER?? The same dude who posed while the "hired help" carried the dirty game? Bet Kerry's a real "oooh, dirt" freak.
There were so many "wierd" pictures of Kerry (like my favorite, the Blue Bunny) that I was certain that his photographer was a staunch Republican.

Kerry makes it sound like the birds were in a 3' square cage, 4,500 acres is hardly a "canned hunt"!
A modern hunting area HAS to be fenced to keep out poachers and fools.
4,500 acres is probably larger than many "wild" habitats today, mainly due to development.
Kerry = Jerk! (PC version of what I really wanted to say)

Ive never hunted in that kind of a preserve. Its not really my concept of hunting, What an arrogant prick. To hunt you be wealthy and own your own property or have rural connections with farmers who let you use their property. If you're a suburbanite with out those connections you're not going have good hunt. Basically you're left up to DRN public sites where the hunting is poor at best and you have to suffer fools who ruin your hunt.
I don't care for put and take operations but there's nothing ethically wrong with it.
The arrogance of Limousine Liberals who have money and influence is breathtaking.
