So basically she is saying that she is not competent in her job.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa...Brit is letting her really have it! GO BRIT!
Oh what a TWIT- if (as she says) she's a trained lawyer...and she is the RANKING member on the intel committee...she should have MADE IT HER BUSINESS to answer these questions BEFORE it got political.
@#$ %*^& #*$&^!!!
:-)
:-) I am watching it for the first time today.
HA! I agree -- it is better theh second time around. Jane, who is normally imho, pretty reasonable, got quite flustered and somewhat unreasonable. Brit did a great job, as always. Smackdowns on Juan coming up next!!!
Brit is so bright- he's really taking her to school.
She doesn't get it. If they wait the 72 hours...the intel is history, it's TOO LATE.
This just gets me steamed.
Perhaps she graduated at the bottom of her class. Did you know that Joe Biden graduated 76th out of 85 at Syracuse Law?
she may need to keep revising.. LOL!

I'll repeat. The key word in the 4th Amendment concerning this arguement is "unreasonable" I do not believe tapping phone conversations of suspected terrorists is in any way unreasonable.
I just loved that look Brit gave her. It indicated to me that he wanted to tell her she was full of you-know-what. HAR!
It was good interviewing by Brit. I think that the only time I have seen him even better was around the Roberts hearings when it was revealed that the NYT had been considering researching the adoptions of the Roberts' children. He was fuming! (As was I)
can we get that put onto bumper stickers?
Okay....I just saw the interview with Jane Harman....
What I don't understand is....why didn't Brit ask her why she would be comfortable with the POTUS or any intelligence agent going to the FISA court for warrants or to tell them 72 hours later what they did....
WHEN these same newspapers that Harman is using for HER information (not the POTUS or intelligence, no, she kept referring to the newspapers)...
when these same newspapers are reporting that they are getting classified information from THE DAMN JUDGES ON THE FISA COURT!!!!
CMON, BRIT>...you let her off the hook...
I think that she can't or she won't get her funding.
Notice too, Harmon says FISA was designed for this situation. It was? Technology was nowhere near the advances we have today.
Be glad I only posted 3 or we would of hit 1500 today! Almost 800 posts. Impressive posts too. We will hit 1500 some day soon!
Listening in on a cellphone conversation is a much different procedure. Cell phone are transmissions that are not contained in an access circuit and can be argued to be similar to radiowaves.
